A few days ago, Taiwo Ayoku and his siblings had a commemorative session for their late father, Chief Solomon Ayoku of the Gbengbeleku fame, who died six years ago. The family had a special prayer for the late Lagos socialite.

Taiwo, one of the heirs of the late Ayoku, is fast emerging out of his late father’s shadow. Not contented with bearing a striking resemblance with his father, he also seems to have imbibed the late businessman’s social demeanour. When Ibrahim Bakare, popular known as Bakky, was murdered by some unknown persons some years ago, many thought his untimely death would leave his wife, Lolade, desolate for a very long time. The assumption was based on the fact that Lolade’s deep affection for her late husband was not hidden. So strong was the bond and affinity shared by the couple that Lolade was inconsolable for months after the sad incident.

Now, there are insinuations to the effect that Lolade is being tempted to give another shot at marriage. Reports indicate that a lot of well-to-do guys have been looking in her direction but the courteous lady insists that she is not ready for that now. She is said to have told whoever cares to listen that she would rather channel her energy into bringing the best out of her children.
