HOW I WAS ABLE TO FIGHT HEPATITIS B & FATTY LIVER DISEASE DESPITE MY NEGLIGENCE AND IGNORANCE IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS…

    ATTENTION PLEASE!!!

This is the best scientific discovery for THE TOTAL CURE OF FATTY LIVER & ANY TYPE OF HEPATITIS.

My brother also used this same Discovery to Remedy His Hepatitis B

This is the most effective and curative solution for those diagnosed with fatty liver disease and any type of Hepatitis.

It has helped more than 13,694 Nigerians.

Hepatitis is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis virus which could be easily contracted from a victim through contact of body fluids. This could be either through sexual contact, blood contact or even saliva. It could also be contracted if by chance a person consumes the waste passed out from a carrier. Slight contact with these fluids can transmit the disease.

For some people, hepatitis B infection becomes chronic, meaning it lasts more than six months. Having chronic hepatitis B increases your risk of developing liver failure, liver cancer or cirrhosis — a condition that permanently scars of the liver.

If not treated with caution, this hepatitis virus would gradually grow into a more severe state which is know as the Hepatitis B. This is the state which results in scarring of the liver, abnormal functionality of the liver and in due time, liver cancer. These symptoms would only show after the hepatitis A has developed into hepatitis B and I’ve had my own share of it.

So if you value your health, I’d suggest that you take a few moments to answer the following questions: ·

    • Are you diagnosed of Hepatitis? ·
    • Do you often feel tired or weak? ·
    • Do you sometimes experience back pain, abdominal pain or lower torso discomfort? ·
    • Do you ever feel nauseous or suffer from a loss of appetite? ·
    • Does your skin or the whites of your eyes appear yellowish in color? ·
    • Do you binge drink, or drink alcohol on a regular basis? ·
    • Do you smoke? ·
    • Are you trying to lose Belly Fat or weight but not seem to be working? ·
    • Are you overweight and struggling to shift those excess pounds? ·
    • Did you just suddenly lost weight drastically? ·
    • Have you noticed a patchy, dark skin discoloration, usually on the neck or underarm area? ·
    • Do you have bad skin, and just don’t know why? ·
    • Do you ever suffer from abdominal pains and cramping? ·
    • Do you suffer from headaches, or experience confusion, impaired judgment, or have trouble concentrating?
    • Do you always feel hungry, and as a result, are constantly snacking on sugary or starchy foods?

    And finally… ·

  • Neglecting Hepatitis B leads to liver cancer – Physician

A Physician, Dr Ramon Moronkola, says neglecting Hepatitis B over a long period will lead to liver damage which can also lead to cancer of the liver.

Moronkola, who works at a Lagos-based private hospital, Optimal Care, made the assertion in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.

“Liver cancer, most times, the survival rate, when it sets in is within six months; it is that deadly.

“Hepatitis B is deadlier than HIV because of its infectivity; if Hepatitis B virus is on a surface, it can last on that surface for months.

“However, if it is HIV on a surface, in some hours and days it will die off, that means it cannot infect someone again.

“The danger of neglecting Hepatitis B is that the person runs the risk of having his liver damaged or having cancer of the liver,” he said.

He told NAN that Hepatitis B was highly preventable through vaccination, screening, early detection and treatment.

According to him, Hepatitis B is one of the vaccines given to children and adults are encouraged to find out their status and if negative, they are encouraged to get vaccinated.

“When you are vaccinated, you are protected from the virus.

“Even for those who are positive, there are steps to take to protect the liver; one of them is to visit the hospital to see, especially, doctors who are trained in that field,” he said.

The physician warned that activities such as consuming excess alcohol, taking herbs indiscriminately could worsen the situation of someone who has Hepatitis B.

Moronkola said: “If someone has Hepatitis B, he has to now take extra care to desist from those things that can further damage the liver.

“However, the first thing to do is to visit a specialist.

“So, largely, what is being promoted is great awareness of the dangers of the condition and ensure that people vaccinate their children and go for screening,” he added.

  • Valentine Ukoh tackles Hepatitis B in ‘Listen’

A short film titled “Listen” has emerged the overall best film of the Students project of Graig-Phillips College of Technology, Ikeja, Lagos.

The short film captured the dire consequences of ignoring the counsel of the elderly towards making the right decisions in life.

Directed by Valentine Ukoh, the filmmaker said the film is geared towards creating awareness on Hepatitis B, a killer disease, while emphasizing the importance of the girl-child education and the need to avoid making the wrong set of friends.

“We had to build on Hepatitis B which is more deadly than HIV/AIDS. It is common in our society to see the young ones, out of youthful exuberance, trail the path of destruction, ignore the good counsel of the elderly ones and in the end pay dearly with their lives. The message encompasses health, girl-child education and social lifestyle,” Ukoh stated.

He expressed joy of being the director of the Best Film and said he learned patience while working with green horns in the course of the film production.

The film was among nine others which were premiered at Cuba Libre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The President of Graig-Phillips College of Technology, Longe Bankole-Phillips said the 10 films that made the cut were the result of a one-month rigorous free training of 100 students.

He noted that the training was a CSR programme of the college to assist them to creatively produce films that send a positive message to the society, help people build their careers, as well as give them a sense of entrepreneurship.

The free training which elapses in this month kick started the school’s programmes which are already registered with the appropriate regulatory bodies of education.

“Graig-Philips is an innovative and multimedia institution that is seventy percent practical and thirty percent theoretical with the state-of-the-art equipment,” he said.

  • ‘20m Nigerians infected with Hepatitis B’

About 20 million Nigerians are infected with Hepatitis B virus, the Society for Gastroenterology and Hepatology in Nigeria (SOGHIN) has said.

The group made this known at its  10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Scientific Session at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) and the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.

SOGHIN is a body of specialists in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the upper and lower alimentary tract, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, such as pathologists, radiologists, physicians and surgeons.

According to a communique at the end of the AGM, the society observed that access to screening and diagnosis were inadequate and the ‘overwhelming’ majority of Nigerians could not afford the cost of investigations and treatment.

The communique was signed by SOGHIN National President, Prof. Musa Borodo and Secretary-General, Dr. Casmir Omuemu.

SOGHIN said most liver cancer cases occur in young and middle-aged individuals, adding that the males are mainly affected by chronic Hepatitis B infection.

It said: “A lot of quackery and misinformation about viral Hepatitis abound in the country; while the government is commended for the establishment of a viral Hepatitis Control Programme as well as viral Hepatitis Stratgic Plan 2016-2020, efforts must be channelled to actualise the aspirations in an organised fashion.

“The government, corporate oganisations and non-governmental organisations, should, pay more attention to the control of viral Hepatitis in Nigeria.

“The government should expeditiously provide specific budgetary allocation and appropriation for the control of viral Hepatitis in Nigeria. This will promote access screening and diagnosis.”

The group advocated the establishment of a National Digestive Centre to enable more people get  gastrointestinal and Hepatology diseases treatment and research.

It recommended that cancer treatment should be incorporated in the National Health Insurance Scheme to reduce the huge cost of managing patients with gastrointestinal and hepatology cancers.

    • Raise alarm over 23million Nigerians affected by virus

The House of Representatives has raised the alarm over the prevalence of Hepatitis B Virus in the country.

The lawmakers said it has become expedient for the federal government to formulate a national policy as a result of the prevailing infection rate of 13.7percent in the country.

According to the House, 23 million Nigerians are currently afflicted by the virus, while calling for an immediate, deliberate and actionable plan against the dreaded disease.

The decision of the lawmakers followed the adoption of a motion sponsored by Hajia Aishatu Dukku (APC Gombe), who said a policy similar to that on HIV and AIDS is urgently required, as the number of people affected has made Nigeria one of the countries with the highest incidences of HBV infection globally.

Dukku further noted that the creation of public awareness on hepatitis and the integration of the Hepatitis B vaccine into the National Immunisation Programmes would go a long way in curbing the spread of the disease.

She said: “Despite the fact that Hepatitis B causes chronic liver disease, it has received little or no attention in Nigeria, thereby making it a major public health hazard in the country. The virus was epidemic in nature, as carriers are often unaware of their status and can therefore infect others through blood or bodily fluids exchange.

“The most common of hepatitis infection can cause long term disease, chronic liver disease and severe scarring of the liver if detected before it progresses to acute liver infection level and is treatable with the possibility of the life of the victim being prolonged. However, only 20percent might progress to the liver disease stage after treatment compared to nearly 100 per cent of HIV patients.”

The motion was unanimously adopted when it was put to a voice vote.

  • How to prevent killer diseases

Pneumonia, diarrhoea and hepatitis B are preventable, a community health physician at Lagos University Teaching Hospital(LUTH), Dr David Karatu has said.

According to him, they are known as childhood killer diseases because they affect more children than the adults.

Others are diphtheria, measles, pertussis or whooping cough, poliomyelitis, rubella, tetanus and childhood tuberculosis (TB), anaemia, asthma and bronchiolitis cancer, chicken pox, dental carries, Down syndrome, ricketts, congenital heart disease, influenza, leukemia, meningitis, rheumatic fever, and others.

He said Nigeria may not reach the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) by 2015 because it has not achieved much in the past 13 years it started the programme

He said: “In a scale of 100, we should be at 25 and I don’t think it will be possible to reach the expected goal within two years, unless with God’s miracle.”

  • Foundation to fight Hepatitis

    Foundation to fight Hepatitis

More Nigerians can be saved from death through Hepatitis, especially Hepatitis B, as a non-governmental organisation (NGO) has been inaugurated to screen and treat detected cases.

With many living with the virus in ignorance, the foundation is geared towards screening, vaccinating and educating Nigerians on the importance of the disease.

Hepatitis B infection causes inflammation of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV) that affects hominoidea, including humans. The foundation has identified the prevention of Hepatitis B virus infection as paramount because, “the virus can be ten times more infectious than HIV/AIDS. The virus is not easily noticeable until it has ravaged the liver for sometimes more than 40 years and when it becomes obvious it is always too late the treat,” stated the founder, Dr Joseph Onigbinde.

At the inauguration of the foundation at Parkview Estate,Ikoyi, Lagos State, medical doctor and founder of the foundation, Dr Onigbinde said he was embarking on preventing the disease because many Nigerians are losing their lives to it. “As director of Hepatitis B program in New York University,USA between 2006 and 2008 I was privileged to lead a team of medical researchers to investigate the prevalence of Hepatitis B chronic infection among the minority population of New York. We screened over 2, 600 participants, and of the 2, 600 people that we screened only five people tested positive. And of the five that were positive four of them were Nigerians and the fifth person was a Togolese,” he said.

Dr Onigbinde said the NGO will sensitise the public of the dangers of Hepatitis B.

“With the World Hepatitis B Day celebrated on 28 July the NGO will kicked-off its project on the same day in Lagos at Ropheka Medical and Dental Hospital premises. We will use Lagos State Project as a pilot study. We will then move on to other states. Although it will not be easy funding this massive project but we are passionate about making a change in Nigeria,” he explained.

The Chairman Ropheka Health Foundation, Senator Bode Olajumoke, said he only agreed to play a part in the Foundation because he sees the idea as a laudable one. “It’s unfortunate that Nigerians are not given to charity because this idea is a lofty one, I encourage all Nigerians to be a part of this. In the US Foundations such as the Rockefeller Foundation are given to charity because they have better understanding. The private and public sectors should vigorously support this mission,” he said.

Senator Olajumoke said although he is very versatile he had little knowledge of the virus called Hepatitis. “In the US a league of rich women began propaganda about the deadly virus known as HIV/AIDS today because their husbands were promiscuous but in the end they got their husbands to stop promiscuity and also help others to abstain from sex or use protection. We can also educate Nigerians but it can only be achieved if we support this project.”

He appealed for support from well meaning Nigerians and organisations as the NGO needs funds to take the fight to other parts of the county.

  • Experts canvass mass screening, treatment for Hepatitis B

Nofewer than 20 million Nigerians are infected with Hepatitis B, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said.

This was made known by the Society of Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists in Nigeria (SOGHIN) in Lagos.

The group said the figure is high because people are unaware of its mode of transmission, prevention and treatment.

The body of experts is calling for collaboration to raise awareness and treatment/vaccination on the disease, which they said is more infectious and common than the human immunodeficiency virus infection / acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV/AIDS).

The doctors who specialised in hepatitis treatment defined it as an inflammation of the liver caused by an immune response to the presence of Hepatitis virus in the liver cells. More than 350 million people globally are infected with chronic Hepatitis B and C, which are the most common causes of liver cancer and liver cirrhosis. That is, one in 12 people worldwide is living with either HBV or HCV.

A member, Dr.Hameed Oladipupo, said Hepatitis virus is transmitted through contact with body fluids e.g. unprotected sex with an infected person and sharing of infected needles or other sharp objects that can break the skin. In addition, babies born to an infected mother have a 90 to 95 percent chance of contracting Hepatitis B virus (HBV) during childbirth. Fortunately, babies born in Nigeria receive Hepatitis vaccines that protect them from developing full-blown Hepatitis as adults.

Dr Oladipupo said, yet, the biggest obstacle confronting Hepatitis treatment in Nigeria is not the virulence of the disease virus or even the spread of the disease but a lack of awareness among Nigerians, of the importance of discovering their Hepatitis status. There is also the issue of not knowing what to do, where to go to and who to see when it comes to hepatitis. These anomalies are worrisome even though they are the least government could do in ensuring effective Hepatitis B control.

“When patients come to the hospital with yellow eyes, most of the time; that is advanced stage where the situation cannot be salvaged. The best way to know if one has the hepatitis virus is to go for screening and if confirmed obtain treatment.”

The experts said hepatitis B is a common disease in Nigeria that affects at least 19 million or one in five Nigerians. They called on Nigerians to take steps to prevent contracting the disease, as there are vaccines to prevent its occurrence, instead of coming late to the hospital with advanced stages of hepatitis.

The Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists said only by increasing awareness of different forms of hepatitis and how the same can be prevented and treated, would not only check the spread of the disease but thousands of lives would also be saved.

They said types B and C are of significant concern in Nigeria since a high proportion of people infected with these viruses may not experience symptoms at the early stage of the disease, and only become aware of their infection when they are chronically ill.

According to another member, Dr Charles Onyekwere, consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), even though one out of every five Nigerians has Hepatitis B virus (HBV), which attacks the liver, local and foreign agencies pay more attention to HIV, which affects one out of every 400 Nigerians. “At one time HIV and AIDS had a prevalence rate of six per cent but local and foreign intervention brought it down to 3.8 per cent today. The Nigerian government should be critical about the state of Hepatitis B management and the need to declare the disease a national emergency just like HIV was declared in 2001 by the Olusegun Obasanjo administration,” said Dr. Onyekwere.

Another member, consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Dr Remi Oluyemi said, “Hepatitis is an entirely preventable disease if detected early.  Just as people want to discover their HIV status, they should also try to know their Hepatitis status. The screening costs about N1, 000 and is available at most hospitals.”

“Without this first-line screening, doctors cannot move to the next stage of treatment which is determining the quantity of the virus in the blood and prescribing drugs before patients develop full-blown liver cancer or liver cirrhosis. If people don’t get screened, when they come for treatment after symptoms have developed, their liver already has cancer. It’s like medicine after death,” Dr. Oluyemi said.

Another member, Dr Olufunmilayo Lesi, Consultant, College of Medicine, University of Lagos, said, Nigeria needs not wait for 28, July of each year before raising awareness on hepatitis. For, HBV is highly contagious – between 50 and 100 times more infectious than human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) – and can survive outside the body for at least seven days. During this time, the virus can still cause infection if it enters the body of a person who is not infected. “The virus incubation period is 90 days on average, but can vary from about 30 days to 180 days. HBV may be detected in the body 30 to 60 days after infection and persists for widely variable periods of time.

“Chronic carriers constitute an enormous reservoir of the virus and are a source of infection for others. Have high morbidity and mortality from chronic liver diseases such as liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. We see 20 cases of liver failure in Clinics who are mostly patients with Hepatitis B, who did not show up for test or check up until it is too late. The number to call for screening, vaccine and treatment is 08058206916.”
