    Alao-Akala’s son empowers constituents with tech skills, laptops

    Hon. Olamiju Alao-Akala, son of the former governor of Oyo State and lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, South, and Orire federal constituency, has facilitated a comprehensive Information Technology training program for his constituents.

    He stated that the initiative aims to promote digital literacy and human capital development among his constituents.

    The event, held at Lagbami Osekun Hall, Ogbomoso South Local Government Secretariat, aimed to equip students, women, and young people with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital space.

    The vocational training, organized in partnership with the National Board for Technology Incubation and Centerview Business Concept, focused on imparting practical knowledge in ICT and empowering participants with essential digital competencies required to succeed in today’s tech-driven world.

    As part of his commitment to ensuring sustained impact, the lawmaker distributed laptops, certificates of participation, and cash awards to participants, providing them with the necessary tools to kick-start their careers in technology.
