Omotayo Adebisi, HR Outsourcing expert, is calling on governments to recognise HR as drivers of growth.
Adebisi said governments and relevant agencies should come up with policies to regulate and support HR.
“Africa must acknowledge HR’s potential to create jobs, enhance productivity, and boost competitiveness.”

“By enacting supportive policies and regulations, governments can foster a thriving HR sector,” he said.
He noted importance of setting up a regulatory framework to ensure best practice and protect clients’ interests. This framework, he noted, will provide a foundation for HR’s growth.
Adebisi suggests that governments should provide incentives for HR outsourcing companies to invest in technology and training.
He said public-private partnerships is also crucial, as it facilitates growth of HR infrastructure and capacity.
