A social-cultural club, Ibadan Vanguard Sisters (IVS), has felicitated with its Royal Mentor, Chief Monsur Abiola Arulogun, on his elevation from Bada Balogun of Ibadanland to Gbonka Balogun of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
The club recognises Arulogun’s immense support and prays he reaches the peak of chieftaincy to the throne of Olubadan.
A statement by the President of the club, Van. Toyin Bade-Suarau, a retired Deputy Comptroller of Immigration, eulogised Arulogun’s accommodation, dedication and tireless efforts to his community and Ibadan land at large.
“As a respected leader, Chief Arulogun, has consistently demonstrated exceptional wisdom, compassion, and vision, which earnings him the admiration and respect of the community.

“Chief Monsur Abiola Olatunji Arulogun’s new role is deeply rooted in Ibadan’s rich cultural heritage, where traditional leaders play vital roles in promoting peace, unity and development of the land.
“Ibadan Vanguard Sisters is confident that Chief Arulogun’s elevation will further strengthen the bond between the people and their leaders.”
The club however reiterated that Chief Arulogun’s new position is poised for greater height of prosperity and growth building on its legacy as a vibrant and culturally rich city.
