A profound sadness enveloped the skies as uncertainty filled the air. Those who had experienced her generosity and kindness mourned deeply, realizing that the rare gem they had come to love and admire would no longer be able to extend her comforting hands and warm spirit. Her passing was sudden and heartbreaking, leaving her immediate family struggling to cope with the irreplaceable void she left behind.

As the popular saying goes, “sweetness is the remembrance of the righteous.” Despite her relatively short yet impactful life on this Earth, Ibidunni radiated kindness and compassion. She was truly an angel in human form, always prioritizing the needs of others and embodying a spirit of selflessness. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she was a devoted preacher of the word of God. In the realm of event decoration, her remarkable talents and creativity established her as a formidable presence, leaving a glaring lacuna in the hearts of her loved ones after her departure.

Ibidun Ighodalo celebrates babies at Yuletide

Ibidun Ighodalo, wife of the Senior Pastor of Trinity House Church, Ituah Ighodalo, has continued to beam rays of hope into the lives of people who least expect it. The former Miss Lux Nigeria was at it again during the just concluded Yuletide period as her foundation organised a very successful Baby’s Day for the benefit of mothers and their children.

Having recently welcomed a new addition into her home in the person of cute little Keke, the brains behind upscale events planning outfit, Elizabeth R, no doubt has good knowledge of the stress mothers pass through in raising their children. Thus, she took the initiative to lessen their burden through the one-day festive event which featured free shopping, distribution of toys and other baby things, and free medical check-ups, among other goodies.

The more than 500 women and children at the event had a jolly good time with the event hosted by her Ibidun Ighodalo Foundation.

  • Ibidun Ighodalo in joyous mood

For some women, being the wife of a rich and famous pastor is a ticket to a life of lavish pleasures and luxurious indolence. Ibidun Ighodalo is the wife of a rich and famous pastor but she is not one of such women. The beautiful wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo of Trinity House Church is a mixture of beauty and brains, a role model and entrepreneur.

Being the wife of a pastor has not stopped her from making her own mark. Rather, it has spurred her on to greater feats. She manages Elizabeth R, an upscale events management outfit that has handled many high-profile events for the high and mighty.

The real gist, however, is that beautiful things are beginning to happen in the life of the wonderful woman whose foundation has been putting smiles on the faces of women suffering from infertility. The ex-beauty queen’s profile has been further boosted in recent times with the stellar work of her Ibidun Ighodalo Foundation which has been getting rave reviews in the media. This is not to mention many decoration jobs her company, Elizabeth R, did in the yuletide season.

To cap it all, Ibidun Ighodalo has finally had her most earnest prayer answered, albeit in an unconventional manner. Since her marriage to Ituah in 2007 she has been praying for a child. At some point, was as if heaven had turned deaf ears to her pleas. But all that is in the past now as she and her stylish husband now have a beautiful daughter named Keke.

One thing that sets Ibidun Ighodalo apart from other beauty queens is her desire to help others by seeking to ease the burdens that plague them. Since the ex-beauty queen came into the limelight, her name has graced headlines for good reasons.

For some time now, it has been speculated that the former Miss Lux travelled abroad to upgrade herself on the challenges of global business. The story has since turned out a hoax. It can be authoritatively revealed that Ibidun remains yet the queen of event planning and decoration.

Indeed, the owner of Elizabeth R has taken her activities further with the launch of an NGO called Ibiduni Ighodalo Foundation. The new foundation seeks to find solutions to the medical, financial, psychological and mental obstacles infertility poses to building families.

Ibidun is driven by the passion to stamp out discrimination against infertile individuals and help raise awareness on the various treatments available to sufferers. She is backed in this by her husband, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, who turned 55 two days ago.

  • Ibidun Ighodalo Dispenses gesture

Blessed, the scriptures say, is the hand that gives than the one that takes. It is one message that is never lost on Ibidun Ajayi Ighodalo, the brains behind Elizabeth R, an event management company based in Lagos.

By her philanthropic gestures, Ibidun has shown that there is more to her than being a pastor’s wife, an event manager or an ex-beauty queen. At the beginning of the year, the wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo (founder of Trinity House Church, Victoria Island, Lagos) started a selfie competition on the social media when she announced her decision to give out about N185,050 on Instagram through Elizabeth R. Contestants were to qualify by taking a selfie with any of the Elizabeth R decorations done in certain locations.

Ibidun shocked the contestants in the selfie competition by inviting all of them over to her house. It was more than a fun session for the lucky contestants. She not only dined and prayed with them, they all left richer as she gave every one of them money and other material gifts. Her Instagram page, the dorchester_by_elizabeth_r  has since been flooded with appreciative messages as most of the recipients were stunned by her act of kindness.

Trinity House was founded after a misunderstanding that ensued in the pastorate of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Things fell apart between the former pastor of Christ Church, Gbagada and the authorities of RCCG due to the complex nature of the crash of his first marriage. Ighodalo later remarried the then Ibidun Ajayi, Nigeria’s first Face of Lux and MD/CEO of Elizabeth R.

Ibidun Ajayi returns with a BANG

FORMER beauty queen and Managing Director Elizabeth R event company, Ibidun Ighodalo, is back with a bang. The wife of the Senior Pastor of The Trinity Church, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has just shown that her hibernation from the social scene has nothing to do with inertia. Her creative instinct has just resulted in the birth of her own event centre, The Dorchester.

Situated on Water Corporation Drive, off Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, The Dorchester has a capacity of 1,500 banquet seats and 4,000 theatre style seats, among others. Ibidun appears to be contending for a lion’s share of event centre business in Lagos, particularly in the upscale Lagos Island.

With the birth of The Dorchester, many who have been wondering why Ibidun vanished from the social radar for so long probably have the answer. While Celeb Watch had earlier reported that she was globe-trotting, her mission was not clear as she kept her plans for the event centre a top secret.
