Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Nnewi are through to the semi-finals of the Aiteo Cup after 4-0 aggregate win over Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that Ifeanyi Ubah recorded a 1-0 win over ABS on Saturday in Ilorin after a 3-0 triumph in Nnewi on Wednesday.

Ikeokwu Patrick finished off a well coordinated team play in the 74th minute to score the lone goal and silenced the few home fans at the stadium.

The Anambra Warriors players had exchanged passes which sliced ABS defence before Bright Onyedikachi beautiful found an incoming Patrick.

The hosts showed better intent from the start of the game as they had a few shots off target.

Patrick should have scored in the 49th minute when a through ball broke ABS defenders before finding Luqman Hameed brought down the Ifeanyi Ubah playmaker.

Samuel Oyedeji was denied a one on one chance in the 60th minute when Ifeanyi Ubah ’s goal Drissa Bamba went off his line to defend with his chest to corner.

Three minutes later, former Ifeanyi Ubah striker, Martin Ossy missed a chance to score for the Saraki Boys as he skied what he should have stylishly placed behind Bamba.

Onyedikachi and Godwin Obaje are the most dangerous players as they both torment the Saraki Boys defence from time to time.

Adeshina Gata’s dribbling skills couldn’t help the hosts as Wilson Elu and Ikenna Hillary remained resilient throughout the game.
