400 Ikere Ekiti students for ACEF free UTME registration

No fewer than 400 students in Ikere Ekiti will benefit from the second edition of free UTME (JAMB) registration by Ade Crown Empowerment Foundation (ACEF).

The foundation is building on success of the first edition last year which witnessed similar impact.

A statement by the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Amb. Temitayo Abiodun reaffirmed the foundation’s unwavering commitment to fostering educational opportunities for young Nigerians.

According to him, the free registration will take place from January 27 to February 7, 2025 and is open to eligible students residing in Ikere Ekiti.

He said: “Applicants are required to visit JIL CAFE, located behind Ikere Town Hall along BUESTI Road, Ikere-Ekiti, to complete their registration.”

He said that considering the costs associated with UTME registration, ACEF seeks to ease financial strain on families and encourage academic pursuits among students, adding that the initiative was part of ACEF’s broader vision of empowering communities through education.

“The foundation has consistently demonstrated its dedication to supporting educational development through impactful programs.

“In addition to the UTME sponsorship, ACEF has successfully carried out other initiatives, including the distribution of books and school bags to primary and secondary school pupils and students, respectively. These efforts underscore the foundation’s holistic approach to addressing educational challenges at multiple levels,” he added

He expressed commitment to creating opportunities for young Nigerians to achieve their academic goals, saying education is a vital tool for transforming lives and promoting sustainable development and ACEF remains resolute in its mission to support students and communities in need.

He also highlighted the foundation’s belief in the potential of every child and the importance of removing barriers that hinder access to quality education.

“The success of the first edition, held last year, served as a source of inspiration for this year’s program. Many students were able to begin their academic journeys thanks to ACEF’s intervention, and the foundation is optimistic about replicating and even surpassing that impact with this second edition.

“This initiative represents a beacon of hope for families in Ikere Ekiti and demonstrates ACEF’s understanding of the critical role education plays in empowering individuals and driving societal progress.

“Community members are encouraged to spread the word about this initiative, ensuring that deserving students can take advantage of this life-changing opportunity. The foundation also invites well-meaning individuals and organizations to support its mission by contributing to its programs.

“As the second edition of the free UTME registration unfolds, ACEF will continues to set the pace in grassroots educational development.”

He however said this is one of many impactful initiatives the foundation intends to sustain by ensuring that no child is left behind in the pursuit of quality education.
