A boy, whose identity remains unknown, was involved in an accident on the Ikorodu highway between Ojota and Ketu.
He was knocked down on March 24 while crossing the road.
The boy has been receiving intensive care treatment at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Ebute Metta.
Efforts to locate the parents or guardians have been unsuccessful.

Inspector Mary Akolade of Area H Ogudu Police Division, and an officer simply identified as “DCO Tim” from Ifako-Gbagada Police Division are said to have been keeping tabs on the boy.
