This year’s edition of the annual Ikoyi Golf Club’s Club Championship is scheduled to tee off at the golf section tomorrow with one of the club’s top single handicapper Tim Ayomike ready to defend his title.
Ayomike is the tournaments defending champion and he would go up against the best amateurs like Remi Olukoya, former Club Champion, Peter Eben-Spiff, Akeem Lawal and Ewi Akpata and Mike Makinde who have been tipped by bookies for honours this year.
The competition, which is already generating lots of interest within the Club, is open to golfers within handicap range of 14 and below.
