- Demolishes structures
Oyo State Government has condemned the sale of adulterated diesel at unauthorised places along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
It described it as an eyesore.
Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Abdulmojeed Mogbonjubola, during a monitoring and enforcement exercise along the route, directed the demolition of structures housing “black marketers” of diesel.
The commissioner, addressing the illegal marketers, warned them to stop illegal trading of the products in the area.

He condemned the lackadaisical attitude of the sellers, despite information about the position of the government against the illegal business.
Mogbonjubola has directed traders at the fish market situated at Odo-Ona Kekere in Ibadan to prioritise sanitation.
The commissioner, during his visit, conveyed the marketers to the black spot on the premises and warned against further dumping of refuse.
He advised them to engage the service of environmental consultant.
