    Singer-songwriter, John Ighodaro, also known as Johnny Drille has disclosed that his heartbreak songs doesn’t mean he was heartbroken. 

    According to him, he doesn’t know what it feels like to be heartbroken.

    The vocalist of the heartbreaking song “Ludo” claimed on X app that he had never really experienced real heartbreak firsthand before. 

    Johnny Drille, who recently welcomed his first child, asserted that any song he makes about heartbreak is entirely fictional and has nothing to do with his own experiences.

    The singer guaranteed that his heartbreak songs will still smack even though they aren’t real.

    Johnny Drille wrote: “Never really experienced real heartbreak firsthand, so for every time I’m gonna make a song about heartbreak, just know I’m making it up. But i promise you it’ll slap still.”

    Singer-songwriter, John Ighodalo, popularly known as Johnny Drille has urged people not to judge others based on a first impression. 

    Taking to the microblogging platform, X, Johnny Drille acknowledged his errors in making quick judgements about people based on first impressions.

    He stated that he is quite sure that people have also had bad first impressions of him too.

    The “Believe Me” crooner advised that it is best for everyone to give each other some grace.

    She revealed that the baby was named Amaris Esohe Ighodaro, as she shared beautiful moments from the time they had spent together since her birth.

    His wife, sharing the video, wrote: “My precious and beautiful child, Amaris Esohe Ighodaro 11.17.2023. You are my miracle and the best gift I have ever received. God is faithful and his word is always true!

    Sensational singer, John Ighodaro popularly known as Johnny Drille, has disclosed how his first love, Rima Tahini happened to be the woman he got married to.

    Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, revealed in July that Johnny Drille, his signed artiste, and Rima Tahini, who is also an A&R executive with Mavin Records, were married.

    It was later discovered that the revelation came a year after the couple got married secretly.

    Speaking in a recent podcast interview with actress, Iyabo Ojo,the singer revealed that his wife was his first girlfriend.

    He said: “The first time I saw her was at one of my shows in 2018. She was sitting in the front row next to a white woman. At some point, I thought both of them were white. She is mixed race.

    “So, when I was working on another show in Abuja, we got talking. We met in October and by January, I knew I was going to marry her. And I told her I was going to marry her. For me, it was deep conviction. A lot of people will not believe this but she was my first girlfriend. I never had a girlfriend before her. I married the first woman that I said ‘I love you’ to.”

    Sensational singer, Johnny Drille, has rained praises on his industry mate, Rema, while stating that the ‘Calm Down’ crooner doesn’t get enough accolades for his tremendous contributions and input towards the growth of Nigerian music.

    Johnny Drille cited partiality as the reason Nigerians don’t treasure Rema despite all his musical achievements at a young age.

    Speaking in a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos, Johnny Drille said: “Not to be controversial or anything but if Rema was some other artistes, other big artistes in Nigeria, everyone would be screaming at their lungs like, ‘Hey! This person is breaking ground.”

    “And Rema for his age has done some really incredible things that I don’t think we give him enough credit for.     “It just feels to me like he’s just getting started. We need to give the young man more credit.”
