    Ahead of its June 2 cinema release date, Judith Audu Productions has released the official trailer and poster for its sophomore feature film production, ‘Stormy Hearts’.

    Produced by Judith Audu, directed by Tope Alake, and written by Brenda Ogbuka and Chijioke Ononiwu, the movie stars artistes like Christiana Martin, Theresa Edem-Isemin, Eddie Watson, Kenneth Okolie, Fred Amata, Etinosa Idemudia, Kelechi Udegbe, Greg Ojefua, Rotimi Salami, Stan Nze, Debbi Ohiri, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Ogee Nelson, Omoye Uzamere, Stan Nze, Lydia Idiakulu Sobogun, and a host of other fantastic actors.

    In ‘Stormy Hearts’, Basi (Eddie Watson), a music producer, has a fight with his protégé, Kachi (Theresa Edem-Isemin), a talented singer, over her partying ways. She abandons him for Johnson (Kenneth Okolie), a bigger music producer in town.

    The breakup hits Basi hard. Meanwhile, Ella (Christiana Martin), a prostitute escapes from her abusive pimp, Goldigga (Kelechi Udegbe) to another city to start a new life. Ella and Basi’s paths cross and they develop a relationship that changes both their lives forever.

    ‘Stormy Hearts’ comes in the heels of Judith Audu’s highly acclaimed movie, ‘Just Not Married’ that was part of last year’s Toronto International Film Festival’s City to City’s focus on Lagos.

    ‘Stormy Hearts’ is a Judith Audu Productions’ project for Rok Studios and will be distributed by Genesis Distribution.

    A Judith Audu Productions (JAP) and Iroko TV partnership, the new flick is titled Stormy Hearts.

    Produced by Judith Audu herself, Stormy Hearts is Directed by Tope Alake, Written by Brenda Ogbuka and Chijioke Ononiwu.

    It stars Christiana Martin, Theresa Edem, Eddie Watson, Kenneth Okoli, Fred Amata, Rotimi Salami, Kelechi Udegbe, Gregory Ojefua, Omowunmi Dada, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Etinosa Idemudia, Debbie Ohiri, and a host of others.

    For her contributions to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry, Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Judith Audu-Foght was, last weekend, presented with Award of Recognition in the ancient city of Benin by the EY Theatre Group.
    The members of the group made the presentation after staging a Theater Play titled A Walk in the Past at the Oba Akenzua Cultural Center l.
    Founder of EY Theater, Eddy Young, and his team awarded several key industry players.
    Making the presentation, Young described Judith Audu as a role model stating that he has been following all her activities.
    Receiving her award, the actress said that she is excited about it especially as it happened in her home state. She applauded the young thespians for their work stating that she is humbled to be presented with such recognition.
    Only recently, her movie, Just Not Married was nominated nine categories in the upcoming Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards including; Best Director (Uduak Obon-Patrick), Best Screenplay (Lani Aisida), Best Lead Actor (Stan Nze), Best Lead Actress (Judith Audu), Best Supporting Actor (Rotimi Salami), Best Editing (Oluseyi Asurf), Best Cinematographer (Fayo Festus), Most Promising Actor (Rotimi Salami), as well as Best Comedy categories.

    NOLLYWOOD actress, Judith Audu-Foght, is presently in an ecstatic state as her movie, Just Not Married bagged nine nominations in the forthcoming Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

    Reeling in joy, the actress credited the feat to an “uncommon divine Favour and unlimited Grace” from God.

    She however used the opportunity to urge her fans and followers not to give up in chasing their dreams.

    “Maybe our story will motivate somebody to stop complaining and do something. We took a major risk, got condemned for it and were told the movie will not go far. I bet you know the rest of the story. Stop looking for validation from people. Seek God’s face. If you feel it’s the right thing to do, do it. If you fail, you will learn something new but whatever the case, you will feel fulfilled for doing it.

    “Just never conclude. Because someone said it can’t be done doesn’t mean you will never attempt it. Draw conclusions based on your own experience or observations. We all carry a different level of Grace. Never compare yours with someone else. Create a path; find a purpose, be focused, stay focused, never lose focus by wanting to be someone else, believe in yourself no matter how unrealistic you dreams look, do your part, give it your all and let your God handle the rest,” she nudged.

    Just Not Married was nominated in the Best Director (Uduak Obon-Patrick), Best Screenplay (Lani Aisida), Best Lead Actor (Stan Nze), Best Lead Actress (Judith Audu), Best Supporting Actor (Rotimi Salami), Best Editing (Oluseyi Asurf), Best Cinematographer (Fayo Festus), Most Promising Actor (Rotimi Salami), as well as Best Comedy categories.

    Riding on the wide acceptance her debut production, Just Not Married, garnered in cinemas and festivals across the world, Nollywood actress, OAP and filmmaker, Judith Audu-Foght, has hit location to pursue her first love; acting.

    According to information, the thespian is currently on the set of a movie in being shot Obudu, Cross River State produced by Shan George.

    This would be the first movie she is featuring after winning the award for Best Actress at recently concluded Abuja International Film Festival.

    Only last week, her movie, Just Not Married, was screened at the Eko International Film Festival.

    Information has it that the flick is also one of the official selections for the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) coming up this November in Lagos.

    The actress also revealed that she is presently working on a documentary on a Niger-Delta related subject matter and she will be using an all-female crew on it.

    For her role in her debut feature production, Just Not Married, Nollywood actress and producer, Judith Audu has been named Best Actress at the just concluded 13th Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF).

    Receiving the award, the excited actress said that she feels blessed getting a recognition like this at a time when so much is happening with the movie.

    I’m grateful to the organisers of the Festival for nominating me, for the entire cast and crew that made this happen, the writer Lani Aisida that created the character, the amazing directors Uduak-Obong Patrick and Oluseyi Asurf Amuwa, everyone that has supported and believed in me, I say a very big thank you,” she said.

    Since the release of the movie, Just Not Married has fetched the actress accolades from several quarters. It was rated one of best Nollywood movies to hit the cinemas this year, selling out above Hollywood movies, Angry Birds, Captain America and others.

    Only recently, it also made the selection of the 2016 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), a feat which the actress described as a dream come true.

    Just Not Married was among the eight Nollywood movies selected for screening at the 41st annual Toronto International Film Festival 2016. Among the others selected are Omoni Oboli’s Okafor’s Law and Niyi Akinmolayan’s The Arbitration.

    The movie has also recently been announced as one of the official selections for the 6th Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), Eko International Film Festival 2016, as well as the Australian Festival of African Film 2016. It was screened in India at the 7th Jagran Film Festival 2016 as one of the ‘Stars on the Horizon and at the Abuja International Film Festival.

    Just Not Married is written by Lani Aisida, Directed by Uduak-Obong Patrick with Oluseyi Asurf Amuwa as the Assistant Director and has Fayo Segun Festus as Director of Photography. It features Stan Nze, Rotimi Salami, Ijeoma Agu, Obutu Roland, Brutus Richard, Gregory Ojefua, Judith Audu, Perpetua Adefemi among others.

    Reacting to her debut production Just Not Married making the selection of the 2016 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Nollywood actress, Judith Audu-Foght has said that it is a dream come true.

    According to the actress, being selected to be a part of such a prestigious film festival is a validation of the saying that hard work pays.

    “When I first got the mail from TIFF saying my movie was selected, I was numb for hours, I couldn’t scream! I was so overwhelmed with joy that our movie made it into one of the most prestigious festivals in the world. I felt proud, there was this unexplainable sense of fulfillment that all the risk we took is paying off and it was worth it

    “Sincerely speaking, when I set out to shoot I never knew the film would end up doing so well. It’s doing way more than I can ever imagine and I’m grateful to God and the entire cast and crew that brought this movie to life,” the actress said.

    Just Not Married is written by Lani Aisida and has Fayo Segun Festus as Director of Photography. It features Stan Nze, Rotimi Salami, Ijeoma Agu, Obutu Roland, Brutus Richard, Gregory Ojefua, Judith Audu, Perpetua Adefemi, with special appearances by Adeniyi Johnson, Sambasa Nzeribe, Morten Foght, Bucci Franklin, Eric Nwanso, L.A.S.E, and Seun Afolabi, among others.

    NOLLYWOOD actress, Judith Audu, has a lot to be thankful for. From the success of her maiden feature film at the cinemas, Just Not Married, to her 2014 debut production, Not Right, a short film about which sought to address the dangers in the silence of women who are in abusive relationships, the thespian says that she is looking forward to greater years ahead.

    This much was contained in her birthday message as she adds another year on Friday, July 1.

    “There isn’t so much about adding another year than to be grateful to God for the various ways in which he has been good to one. He has brought me good relationships, a supporting family, a  great husband, wonderful friends and a thriving career. I just thank God as I look forward to greater years ahead,” the message read.

    The actress, model and radio personality, took her space among Nollywood producers with her debut feature film, Just Not Married, a 102-minute film directed by Uduak-Obong Patrick

    Just Not Married is the story of Victor, a recently released ex-convict who is trying to piece his life together and his younger brother Duke, a brilliant undergraduate determined to see his ailing mother live. The movie sold out in cinemas across the country when it ran between the months of May and June, a reason for which Audu says she is grateful to God and the entire cast and crew of the movie. To mark her day, she also released a set of sultry photographs.

    Judith Audu’s Just Not Married tops cinema ratings

    Barely weeks after making its way into Nigerian cinemas, Just Not Married, from the stable of Judith Audu Productions, is currently serenading cinema-goers.

    According to reports, the movie is currently going toe-to-toe with its foreign counterparts like X-Men Apocalypse, Neighbors 2, The Perfect MatchAngry Birds and a couple of others.

    Elated at the performance of the movie in the cinemas, producer of the flick, Judith Audu-Foght, said that she and her entire team are overwhelmed with all the positive feedback from movie lovers.

    “We are very grateful and appreciate all the love Nigerian movies are getting in Cinema, we are happy we took the risk we took and gave movie lovers something to make them proud of Nigerian movies again,” she said.

    On April 13, she held a private screening for the movie at the Lagos Yacht Club where she received accolades for her effort. This was followed by an exclusive screening of the flick at the Genesis Cinemas, The Palms, Victoria Island, Lagos on Friday, May 6.

    Just Not Married, written by Lani Aisida, is directed by Uduak-Obong Patrick with Asurf Oluseyi as Assistant Director. It has Fayo Festus as Director of Photography.     It is the story of two brothers who chose opposite paths. Victor, a recently released ex-convict is trying to piece his life together while Duke is a brilliant undergraduate determined to see his ailing mother live. Duke enlists the help of his two friends in stealing cars and decorating them as ‘Just Wedded.’
