The Chairman of Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) Hon. Kamal Ayinde Baiyewu hàs applauded the Executive Chairman of Ifelodun LCDA, Mayor Okeowo for his numerous projects and programmes and particularly for staff welfare.
He said Okeowo had surpassed expectations and himself being a son of the soil, is aware of all his achievements.
He spoke when Ifelodun LCDA played host to the Chairman , Commissioners , Permanent Secretaries and Directors of LGSC.
Baiyewu highlighted some of the commission’s achievements in the last 5 years which include promotions , conversion and advancement of deserving members of staff.
He reiterated the need for staff to be computer-literate because this would help in their career advancement and relevance.

Permanent Secretary, LGSC, Mrs. Abosede George urged staff to be conversant with the Public Service Rule (PSR) and other documents that guide the operations of the civil servants and advised that in-house training at intervals be done to keep them abreast of the guiding principles.
She added that long-service awards and recognition of outstanding officers should be celebrated as a way of motivation and appreciation.
Okeowo appreciated the regular visits of the commission which he said has really put the staff on their toes as regards their official duties.
He hailed the management and the generality of the staff for their dedication to the ideals and dictates of his administration.
Okeowo also noted that his administration would be inviting the commission for the inauguration of an administrative building by the end of May as the construction is at 80 per cent stage of completion.
