A.Chairman of Kanam Development Association (KADA), Garba Aliyu, has condemned what he called the gruesome murdered of Yakubu Hussaini Adafa.
Aliyu and Shehu Kanam, Secretary association in a statement, condemned the act.
The statement reads: “We, the leadership of Kanam Development Association (KADA) are deeply outraged and saddened by the extrajudicial killing of Faisal Yakubu Hussaini Adafa by officers of the Nigerian Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Dengi on Thursday.
“This heinous act is unacceptable and violates the fundamental human rights of the victim.
“While we acknowledge the NDLEA’s right to operate within the bounds of the law, we strongly condemn this brutal and unjustifiable killing. The agency’s actions undermine the trust and confidence of the public in law enforcement.”

The association demanded the immediate arrest and prosecution of the officers involved in the heinous crime and a thorough and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Faisal’s killing.”
Chairman, Kanam Local Government Area, Salihu Ayuba Musa, called for calm and restraint as he directed an immediate investigation into the circumstances that led to the murder.
He urged residents, especially those in Dengi Central, to remain calm.
“ I understand the anguish and unrest this incident has caused among our people, but I ask you to resist the urge to react in anger or violence. Let us allow the proper channels to take their course in addressing this grave matter,” he said.
