A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Dr Kazeem Abidikugu, has congratulated Deputy National Chair of the party, Taofeek Arapaja, on his appointment as chair of Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI) Board of Governors.
He also felicitated him on his birthday.
PDI is the research arm of PDP, established in 2000 to promote a democratic culture in Nigeria and Africa through value-added education, training, capacity building, research and documentation.

He pledged the Governing Board members’ commitment to the mission and vision of PDI, and to the guiding principles of PDP.
Abidikugu, in a statement, lauded the PDP national leadership for its foresight in repositioning the party ahead of 2027 general election.
Abidikugu, a House of Representatives aspirant in the build up to 2023 and a United Kingdom- based psychiatric consultant, said the appointment of Arapaja was well deserved.
“I also praise Governor Seyi Makinde for his foresight and love for our party. I believe these efforts will pay off in 2027, as we shall take over power and redeem our country,” he added.
