Famous American comedian Kevin Hart has opened up about how ageing has influenced his fashion choices.

During a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, the 45-year-old entertainer shared that he’s ditched jeans due to discomfort.

Hart explained that jeans “hurt” and are no longer comfortable for him.

He said he’s opted for simpler fashion choices, thereby prioritising comfort and softness.

He’s particularly fond of pants and slacks, which he finds more practical for his age group.

The comedian jokingly added that his dress sense will become even simpler in his 50s, quipping that he’ll be wearing sweatpants exclusively.

He said, “I don’t wear jeans anymore because I’m getting older. It’s all pants, all slacks. I mean, I’m over 40, I feel like the good pant is necessary.

“Jeans are not the same. Jeans hurt, and they are not comfortable. I need a comfortable slack. I need something that I can move in, something that’s soft.

“I don’t like how jeans feel on my knees. They hurt my knees. They hurt my waist like when you sit down, I don’t like how jeans dig in my waist.

“My dress sense changed when I clocked 40. I’m 45 now. I’m about 46. So it changes. At 50, I’m going on all sweatpants.”

Famous American comedian-cum-actor, Kevin Hart has shared a public service announcement to persons aged 40 and above.

He advised individuals who have hit the 40-year mark to respect it else it would force the same out of them.

The funnyman suggested people within that age bracket upwards have to be mindful of the kind of pressure they subject their bodies to because there could be dire consequences.

Hart detailed how he jumped on a race with his friend, former NFL player Stevan Ridley, saying that many people know him as someone that’s naturally fast.

He said the result wasn’t palatable as he got involved in an accident that has now confined him to a wheelchair; leaving him regretful over his decision to attempt such at the age of 44.

He considered his action the stupidest thing ever in the world; urging people of the same age to quit engaging in any form of competition.

He said: “Ladies and gentlemen, the age 40 is real. All my men, women out there 40 years old and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age.

“Respect that age or that age would make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it. This is just a public service announcement because I know people may see me out. I don’t want you to be alarmed; I’m in a wheelchair. Why? Because I tried to jump out there and do some young stuff. I tried to go out there and do some young men stuff and I was told to sit my ass down.

He added: “Me and Steven got into a little debate. This debate was based on who was faster. Those that know me know I’m pretty fast. Steven said, “Kevin, no way you gon’ beat me.’ We bet, got out there and ran a 40-yard dash.

“40-year dash, that’s how I blew all my shit. I tore my lower abdomen, my abductors, I don’t know what that is, but I tore them. I tore those two, I can’t walk. I have to sit my ass down. This is 44.

“I tell you son, ‘You just lost every opportunity of me going to race with you any time soon’. It’s over, Kevin it’s over. Sit down!

Dissuading his age grade against participating in competition, the entertainer stated: “What are we even competing for at this age? Like what am I even doing? Why do we race? Stupidest shit ever! Now I can’t walk because im somewhere trying to get the title of the fastest nigga at the barbecue. What was I thinking son? God! Got to be the stupidest man alive! It is what it is mehn! This is life.”
