    KieKie grateful for ‘successful’ 2024

    Actress and skit maker KieKie has reflected on her remarkable journey in 2024, expressing gratitude to God, colleagues, and fans.

    KieKie, on Instagram, proudly announced that she featured in three out of the top 10 Nollywood movies of 2024. 

    She also mentioned her role in “Wives on Strike: The Uprising,” which ranked among the top 15 Nollywood Titles in 2024.

    The actress acknowledged the blessings of her talents and the opportunities she’s had. 

    She further thanked her Maker, colleagues, and fans for their support.

    The mother of one wrote: “I’m in 3 out of the top 10 Nollywood movies of the year 2024! And also in Wives on strike the Uprising which made top 15 movies of the year 2024 and is one of my favorite projects ever even as a viewer.

    “This morning I woke up in my feelings, especially for Gratitude! 
    I’m forever grateful to my Maker, My personal Lord and Savior, My Sweet Jesus for blessing me with several talents. I certainly do not merit them all. I was born with them, I am HIGHLY FAVORED!!! …and for this, I’m forever GRATEFUL!

    Kiekie set to splash N30m, car on talents across Nigeria

    A content creator and brand influencer, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori aka KieKie has launched her new game show cum talent hunt platform, ‘KieKie Unscripted Experience.’

    According to KieKie, the show was formerly known as ‘KieKie Unscripted,’ and limited to KieKie’s celebrity guests.

    However, the leggy mother cum wife has returned for a fresh season that is set to reward talents across the shores of Nigeria.

    In a chat at the Mikano showroom on Victoria Island, Lagos, KieKie said the talent is her way of giving opportunities to the younger generation and budding talents, who can sing, dance, act, or just want to play.

    KieKie also said that there are up to N30 million to be won in prizes and cash as well as a brand new 2023 Mikano Changan car to be won, and an all-expense paid trips to any country.

    “Here’s your opportunity to shine on KieKie Unscripted 2.0 and illuminate the world with your story. Seize the chance to share your unique journey and talents with a global audience. Let your voice be heard and your story inspires others,” KieKie hinted.

    “ ‘Kiekie Unscripted Experience’ is designed to discover and celebrate the most talented individuals across various categories.”

    The Oyo-born skit maker explained that the game would be a mix of thrilling games, intense challenges, and raw talent.

    Bankrolled by FirstBank, Mikano, MTN, GoldenPenny, Maltina, and Eazy Travels, the show will premiere on 1 October on Kiekie TV Channel on YouTube and run for 12 weeks while subsequent episodes will air every Thursday.

    Kiekie said over 30 participants could win prizes.

    Reiterating the show, Kiekie said she has curated a talent showcase of unique skills across various categories, including music, dance, comedy, and more with the main segments being ‘Impress the Audience,’ ‘Blast it Up,’ ‘The Big Stage,’  ‘Back to School,’ ‘Balloon Busters,’ ‘Backward Racers,’ ‘Climbers,’ ‘The Freezer Game,’ and ‘The Negotiator.’

    The show will also focus on audience interaction and feature live voting and engagement from viewers, allowing fans to support their favourite participants actively.

    Media personality and skit maker, Kiekie, has announced a new game and talent hunt show, “Kiekie Unscripted Experience”. 

    The show, aimed at supporting young talents in the entertainment industry, will premiere on October 1.

    According to her, the show features 11 segments, including music, dance, comedy, and cooking, with 10 segments offering prizes. 

    The final segment, “Talk To Me”, is a conversation-based segment with no winner.

    Interested individuals can register online from August 20 to September 2 by submitting a 45-second video showcasing their talent, and follow Kiekie TV on social media. 

    A physical audition will also be held in Lagos on September 3 for those who missed the online registration.

    The show will run for 12 weeks, culminating in a grand finale where winners will be announced.

    Kiekie, Layi Wasabi top list of male and female skit makers for Q1 2024

    Leading content creators Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori aka Kiekie and Layi Wasabi have emerged tops on a list of top skit makers for the first quarter of 2024.

    According to Dataleum, a world renowned data analytics company, Kiekie emerged as the number one female character for the first quarter of 2024 while Layi Wasabi tops the male category.

    Dataleum recently released the latest rankings of Nigeria’s top content creation talents with a specification for skit makers in the entertainment industry for the first quarter of 2024.

    “Our number one spot for top  female skit maker for Q1 2024 goes to none other than the super talented fashion icon Kiekie. She has remained consistent in her craft, earning her widespread recognition and engagements. With a total of 50 million views from 45 skits posted, she sits comfortably in the first place for our top Nigerian female skit makers on instagram for the first quarter of 2024,” a statement from Dataleum hinted.

    Kiekie beats Jadrolita and Taaooma to second and third place respectively.

    Reacting to the news,  Kiekie thanked her fans for their continued support over the years and promised to keep them entertained.She said, “I owe this latest win to my teeming fans, Kiekstarters who consume my content daily and encourage me to keep going. To you all, I say thank you and keep watching out for new exciting content”.

    Sabinus, Iamdikeh, Joshtoofunny and CuteAbiola also featured in the top five males while Jadrolita, Taaooma, Phoebe and Neekah featured in the top five for females.

    Skit maker and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori popularly known as Kiekie has shared a to-do list with her fans.

    The married content creator took to her Instagram page to disclose the overwhelming volume of messages she receives in her DMs, which she described as constantly overflowing

    She noted that her phone has been continuously plugged into a charger since Friday due to the high volume of messages.

    The mother of one conveyed her feelings of being overwhelmed, particularly by the constant influx of bank alerts and the unrest surrounding her.

    Nevertheless, she asserted her resolve not to compromise her standards for the sake of others.

    She proceeded to outline the criteria for anyone seeking to marry her.

    “1) I don’t eat locally made meals and Nigerian meals

    2) I don’t spend money that’s not brand new. I just unwrap the notes myself

    3) If you want to marry me, you must be prepared to bathe me 6 times daily

    4) You must be well connected

    Comedian KieKie narrates journey into skit-making business

    Popular skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, better known as KieKie has explained how she began her fashion show before moving into skit-making.

    The mother of one stated that she used to combine comedy with fashion criticism, which caught the interest of industry professionals and led to an invitation to begin creating skits.

    Kiekie made this known while speaking as a panelist at one of the Entertainment Week Lagos sessions.

    Despite beginning small, Kiekie said she now has a YouTube page and creates her own material.

    She said: “I infused the comic side into my content, and that was what gave birth to my fashion shock show. It was a bit of critiquing fashion, but infusing comedy into it. That was one of the things that made the show grow at the time.

    “It was a case of wanting to show more and having the right people around me to encourage me to do that. That is why I always tell people that it is very important to surround oneself with the right set of people that will push the right elements out of one; and not with the most irrelevant things.

    “People started seeing the comic side in my fashion content, and they began pulling me into skits, saying, ‘This girl is hilarious; come and feature in skits’. One skit turned into five, then 10, till we got to this point. Before I knew what was happening, I had started producing my own content, and opened a YouTube channel.”

    KieKie in a video said she was on set for a shoot and needed 4 premium cars and her friends came through for her with their Mercedes, Lexus, and Range Rover cars.

    She said: “Something happened to me today and it made me realize that in life it is very important for your click of friends to be successful, it’s beautiful. I was doing a shoot and I needed 4 premium cars and was able to call my friends and they were able to come through with Mercedes, Lexus, and Range Rover.”

    She added that her daughter’s birthday was turnt and declared that she would never pass up the chance to honour God’s goodness in her life.

    KieKie described her daughter as the youngest and purest teacher who doubles as her Thanksgiving baby.

    Expressing gratitude to God for her daughter, Blessing stated that she has never witnessed anyone laugh as genuinely and joyfully as her daughter.

    Kiekie emphasised the unique love her daughter has brought into her life, describing it as a love that brings inner peace and joy.

    Making a heartfelt vow, she pledged to continue speaking positive words into her daughter’s life, trusting that God will always be with her.

    Kiekie shared a video showing the moment she started her career as a girl who had to beg for shows.

    The mother of one noted that those who came after her were already flying high but she was encouraged by her parents to keep pressing on.

    She said that she held on to God all through her journey.

But my parents will tell me then, “don’t be anxious, don’t be envious, your time will come”. In this moment I realized I had to continue pushing not like I had another option. I held on to God, He took me in arms and He hasn’t let go since then. And neither will I.FOREVER GRATEFUL. GOD is not done @lamboginny”,” she wrote.
