    She wrote: “My unpopular opinion is visa fees should be refunded when a visa application is denied.”

    Oprah’s proposal resonated with some users, who believe that fees should only be paid upon successful application.

    The tweet garnered significant attention, with many sharing their views.

    Some argued that visa fees cover embassy maintenance and officer salaries, while others saw it as a “legal scam” to make money from denied applicants.

    The proposed alternatives included a 50% refund or service charge.

    I once sold sachet water, recharge cards, eggs while growing up – Kim Oprah

    Former Big Brother Naija All-stars housemate, Opara Chinonso Ibinabo, popularly known as Kim Oprah, has revealed her past struggles, acknowledging that during her early years, she sold recharge cards and sachet water to make ends meet.

    Oprah stated this in an interview with Taymesan on the Tea With Tay podcast.

    Sharing her childhood experience, she narrated how she had to live in Abuja barracks after the death of her father.

    She said: “After my dad’s death, my mother was in the military. So we had to move into the barracks in Abuja to help with accommodation.

    “When I went to University of Port Harcourt, my sister and I used to sell recharge cards, pure water and eggs around our side, because there was no closeby kiosk, where you could buy those things so we became the kiosk.

    “Honestly, I’m just happy that I went through it because it really shaped me and made me stronger.

    “I know what the hustle is, I have seen suffering. So coming out on the other side and being this person is like I understand both worlds.”

    Kim Oprah noted that lately, she figured out that everything being sold in Nigeria is fake.

    She added that since she cares so much about her health, she purchases her products whenever she travels.

    She said she buys them in bulk so it can be sufficient until she travels again.

    Kim also prayed to God to save Nigerians. 

    She said: “Let me make this clear… I thank God for exposure, that’s why I never buy things in Nigeria down to my personal effects.. figured out a while ago that everything being sold here is mostly fake, and I care about health so I only purchase my products when I travel, and I buy them in bulk so it can last till the next time I travel… God save us in this country.”

    BBNaija’s former housemate Kim Oprah has received her prize for winning the Titus x BBN Challenge during the recently concluded Big Brother Naija All-Stars.

     The reality TV star who won the Titus task in Biggie’s house was presented with a N250,000 cheque by the General Manager of Ekulo Group of Companies, Joseph Okonkwo, during a Titus Promo Raffle Draw in Lagos.

     Other prizes won by the brand’s customers at the occasion include cash of one million naira, a double door fridge, air conditioner, a generator, N5,000 for twenty people, carton of Titus, and thirty thousand fuel vouchers.

    According to the MD, the promo is aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship by rewarding loyal consumers across the country.

     “Because of the patronage that Titus Sardine brand has enjoyed within the country over the years, we feel that at times like this, when things are not too rosy economically, our company should find a way of putting a smile on the faces of Nigerians and that is why we came up with this initiative tagged, ‘Titus Win Big Promotion’ to reward Nigerians,” he said.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars finalist Cross has confirmed former house guest, Kim Oprah an ideal woman with specific qualities he admires. 

    The Nation reported that Kim Oprah was in an entanglement triangle with best friends, Cross and Pere during her three-week stay in the just concluded Big Brother Naija All-Stars show.

    Cross, in a recent interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu via Africa Magic platform, said he was on cloud 9 when Kim walked into the house.

    He said: “When Kim Oprah came in, I was so happy. I was excited to see someone in the House who actually knew my kind of person.

    Big Brother Naija All-Stars house guest, Chinonso Ibinabo Opara aka Kim Oprah, has claimed she was originally invited to compete for the grand prize but she turned down the offer. 

    The reality star, who eventually appeared as a house guest on the show three weeks ago, said the first invitation interfered with her job schedule so she couldn’t accept it at the time.

    Kim Oprah explained why she agreed to a brief appearance in an interview with BellaNaija following her elimination on Sunday.

    Despite her refusal of the initial summons, she revealed that the organisers contacted her again to see if she would be willing to come to the BBNaija house as a phony roommate (house guest), which she agreed to.

    Kim Oprah said: “I was initially summoned to go into the House for the main show but unfortunately my work schedule did not permit me.

    “Luckily enough, Big Brother organisers asked if I could come back as a guest housemate and that was the period we were also preparing for the Headies Awards.

    Ex-Big Brother Naija All-Stars house guest, Kim Oprah has made a U-turn on fellow housemate Angel Smith being thrown out of a club by bouncers.

    The Nation reported that Kim Oprah and Angel clashed after her first week in the house. 

    During their altercation, Kim Oprah alleged Angel was thrown from her table on one occasion. 

    She claimed that Angel had the courage to speak to her in this way when she was unable to even share a table with her while they were out of the house.

    She continued by saying that Angel was almost hauled away by the bodyguard before she ordered him to drop her.

    Although there is no concrete evidence of a relationship, a leaked conversation between Cross and Kim Oprah added fuel to the speculation.
