Waterways dredging maintenance will prevent flood- Kogi residents

Some residents of Kogi have observed that the dredging maintenance of the Ajaokuta-Onitsha waterways would reduce flood in the state.

Some of them, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in separate inteviews in Ajaokuta on Monday, expressed delight about the initiative and commended the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) for it.

Apart from preventing flood, Mr Adoga Ibrahim, Special Adviser to the state Governor on Multilateral Agencies and Special projects, said the dredging exercise would create employment for the youth.

“It is a fantastic initiative for Nigeria and for the state and we are really happy about these happenings because it will open up the business potential for our state.

“We are going to see growth in employment opportunity for our youths, we are happy as this can reduce flood because when the river is dredged, it can flow better,’’ he said.
Similarly, Mr Yakubu Osani, the Chairman, Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, said the river was connecting 28 states and dredging it would boost the economy of the states.

“The dredging is so important in the history of the state because looking at the economy aspect of it, it is enormous.

“The dredging is going to connect several states meaning that the economy activities will be much and Kogi indigenes will benefit a lot from it.

“If this initiative had been in place, the flood disaster that occurred in 2012 would have been prevented,’’ he observed.
Similarly, Chief Musa Achuga, Chairman, Ajaokuta Traditional Council, appreciated the government for bringing the initiative which would boost the activities of the community.

“We thank God that he has brought this progress to us this time around and we are very happy for what is happening today, it is part of progress we are envisaging ,’’ he said.

Also, Chief Kasin Ibrahim, the head of Ajaokuta, pledged that the community would give full support to ensure that the project was successful.

“It is a pleasure having this type of project, we have been expecting it, it has come to materialise and we thank the government.

“The community is giving its full support to ensure that this project completed,’’ he said.

Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi inaugurated the 162-kilometre waterways dredging maintenance of Ajaokuta-Onitsha on April 29 to be completed in two months.

  • Kogi: No end in sight to Bello/Melaye rift

Kogi: No end in sight to Bello/Melaye rift

The claim by Senator Dino Melaye (Kogi West) that some politicians were after his life has continued to generate some dust. The allegation has also pitched him against Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and promoted an atmosphere of uncertainty in the Confluence State. JAMES AZANIA examines some of the issues at stake.

THE rift between Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello and Senator Dino Melaye has escalated.
Melaye alleged an attempt on his life at his residence in Aiyetoro-Gbedde in Ijumu Local GovernmentArea of Kogi State during the Easter holiday. This has led to counter-accusations by his perceived foes. The lawmaker complained that his house was riddled with bullets and two of his vehicles destroyed.
Melaye, who is the Chairman, Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), said the assailants came around 12 midnight and started shooting sporadically into his abode. He accussed the Administrator of Ijumu Council, Hon. Taufiq Isa, of coordinating the attacks, which, he said, were not unconnected with his criticism of the state government.
Malaye said: “I got a rousing welcome from Kabba to my hometown on Friday and I know it angered the powers that be in the state, which mobilised for this assassination attempt on my life. At about midnight, we started hearing gunshots. They fired more than 200 rounds of bullets into the house. This attempt to kill me will not stop me from speaking the truth. If I speak the truth I will die, if I lie I will die. Me, I have decided to speak the truth and die. I am not afraid of death. I only respect men I don’t fear them.
“This attempt is being championed by the chairman of my local government. He had said it many times that he will do everything to stop me from coming home. Besides, those assailants, when leaving were chanting, ‘we will know if it is Taufiq that owns the land or you’. I am championing an administrative course. I will continue to speak and be the voice to the voiceless. I’m not deterred, I remain resolute to make Kogi better. Nothing will stop me from coming home”.
Melaye said he suspected some collaboration with the police at Aiyetoro Gbedde, which according to him, stayed away until three hours after the hoodlums had left, despite their proximity to his residence He said: “The DPO did not come to my house until three hours later. Even the area command in Kabba was not notified until I called the Commissioner of Police (CP). I suspect a satanic collaboration between Taufiq and the police in Aiyetoro, because the duo had a meeting two days ago. Only God will protect us in this country but definitely not the police”.
Isa, who doubles as the Association of Local Governemnt of Nigeria (ALGON) chairman, however fired back. He denied any involvement in the attack, saying he had been busy attending to his sick wife.
He called on Melaye to substantiate the allegation of his involvement, saying, “I have never been a violent man. My running battle with Dino, if any is because I have asked him to stop vilifying the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. Let him prove it. I lost my uncle a week ago, I’m still attending to my sick wife and busy supervising the All Progressives Party (APC) re-registration programs.
“I am a democrat and law abiding. I challenge Dino to prove his case”.
The Kogi State Police Command was to later confirm the assault on the lawmaker, with the spokesman, William Aya, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), assuring that the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) had been mandated to investigate the matter.
Melaye expressed outrage that “four days” after the attempt on his life, Governor Bello was not bothered.
He said: “The governor’s deafening silence speaks volumes. In the history of Kogi West, various political gladiators have at various times had their differences but none had ever been escalated to the level of attempt on life.
“Chief Awoniyi and Chief Daniyan (both of blessed memory) had their strong differences. Senator Dino Melaye and Prince Olusola Akanmode also had their differences. Architect Stephen Olorunfemi and Prince Olusola Akanmode and Tunde Ogbeha, also had their differences. Senator
Dino Melaye and Senator Smart Adeyemi had their serious political differences. None of these differences was ever escalated to the horrendous level of assassination attempt. The recent incident is alien to Okun people and to Kogi West. The advent of Yahaya Bello as governor and Taufiq Isa as local government administrator in the political firmament of Kogi State has brought this unfortunate socio-political paradigm shift. It may be Dino Melaye today, we don’t know who is next. The aggitation for good governance, payment of worker’s salaries and welfare of pensioners should not be punished with assassination”.
Governor Bello, however said he would not join issues with Senator Melaye.
Speaking through his Media and Publicity aide, Mr.Kingsley Fanwo, he said Melaye as an adult was in the best position to explain the path he had chosen to tread.
He said: “If he accused me of complacency in the so-called assassination attempt, those who have been following the trend from the day his group promised to make Kogi ungovernable will not be surprised. The case is under investigation by the police, and making serious statements about it may be seen to be subjudice. We have been witnessing imaginary attacks in the state and when I travelled to Kogi East, his antagonists also alleged I was attacked, even when the opposite was the case. As a government, we believe the Nigeria Police is capable of getting to the root of the allegations and do justice to it once and for all. I’m redefining leadership in Kogi State, therefore, the plan of, one day one trouble, will not work. We are in the news for the roads we are constructing, the agriculture we are reforming, the healthcare we are making affordable and the walls of insecurity we are pulling down. We have departed from their own ways.
“You people need to ask Senator Dino Melaye if he reported the incident to the governor who is the Chief Security Officer of the state. If you didn’t tell him anything, he too will have nothing to say. The reports of the security agencies will surely untie the riddles surrounding the allegations. Security should never be politicised in our state. We will not be distracted. We know the plans, but if they know Governor Yahaya Bello, they would know he is too focused to be distracted, too courageous to be intimidated. We are waiting for the reports of the investigation after which we shall be properly guided to make informed comments. Nigerians know what is happening”.
The ALGON chairman, while debunking news of his arrest over the issue, said Melaye was adding lying, that the whole thing was a hoax.
Said Isa: “There was no time either recently or in the past that Alhaji Taufiq Isa sent anybody to attack Senator Dino Melaye. The ALGON chairman sees this statement as malicious and capable of misleading and causing disaffection among the peace loving people of Ijumu, where he represents. Senator Melaye should take into cognisance of national security and that of Kogi State, as against any personal political or group interest, and resist the use of personal grudges, grouse and sentiment to attack the hard earned personality of the administrator of Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Taufiq Isa and the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, and should stop casting aspersion on the statutory role of the Governor of Kogi State. The ALGON chairman is ensuring utmost protection of lives and property of Ijumu LG.
“There are over 100 members of task force, which include military, police and civil defence personnel, as deployed to Okun land (Kogi West), for the safety and protection of the entire people. This is done to ensure optimum safety and protection of our people. It is surprising to read on the pages of newspapers that he was behind the stage- managed assassination attempt on him and that he (Isa) was arrested by the police. The desperation of Senator Melaye started when the state governor appointed him as the administrator of Ijumu LGA. He never wanted Alhaji Isa, to be, and tried his efforts to stop him, but the governor went ahead with the appointment. This was the major headache of Senator Melaye.
“We are all aware of Senator Melaye’s antecedent. He has been a disgruntled person. We know the role he played during Patricia Etteh as Speaker, when she allegedly misappropriated N630 million. Senator Melaye held a white handkerchief and fought for her on national television. It was the same Melaye who fought mercilessly and shamelessly in the hallo chambers of the House of Representatives. It was the same man we called our Senator that had altercation with Senator Remi Tinubu, the wife of the National Leader of the APC.
Senator Tinubu, then, said, ‘I’m just wondering why whenever Senator Melaye speaks in this chamber, he is always threatening people and behaving childishly and at times, like a thug”, while the unrepentant Senator Melaye replied her, ‘I will beat you up, impregnate you and nothing will happen…The president, Muhammadu Buhari too was not free from Melaye’s false allegations; accusing him of dishonesty, to Nigerians. He equally accused him of committing huge fraud. This is coming from the same man who won election through the Buhari influence (APC Tsunami).
“In 2012/2013, Senator Dino Melaye raised a similar allegation against President Muhammadu Buhari, when at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, he said ‘Buhari sent hired assassins to eliminate him’. After raising such alarm, the police authority in Abuja refused to adhere to his gimmicks… it’s all stage managed to woo the attention of his cronies, sponsors, godfathers and the public. It is also in similarity with the false allegation against the Inspector General of Police, by Governor Nyesom Wike, recently.
“If Dino Melaye cannot improve on the living standard of the people of Ijumu, he should allow them to have peace, instead of causing unnecessary panic and tension”.
Last week, Governor Bello wanted him dead because of his stand on the plight of workers and pensioners in the state.
According to Melaye, “Workers and pensioners in the state are dying and suffering following the refusal of the governor to pay salary and pensions in the last 15 months. Alhaji Yahaya Bello collected N20 billion from the Federal Government as bailout fund, still he refused to settle workers. He also collected N11 billion from London/Paris Club refund, still he refused to pay workers and pensioners. I will continue to speak the truth for the sake of my people, and no amount of intimidation will stop me from fighting for their course”.
Melaye was one of the ‘Man Fridays’ of the new administration, at its inception. At the Lokoja Confluence Stadium, on January 27, 2016, he presented Bello, as the “God-chosen governor of Kogi, asserting that whoever fights Bello will be fighting God. He assisted the governor in stabilising the administration. He was rumoured to have played a big role in deciding who occupied powerful positions, including that of the Secretary to the State Government.
At stage however, Bello was said to have become averse to Melaye’s overbearing posture, which had become apparent to many even outside inner circles. ‘The straw that broke the camel’s back’, it would appear, was during the build-up to the appointment of local government administrators, of which informed sources have it that the Kogi West senator would accept nothing short of his having his way in who presides over his home front of Ijumu LG, the aftermath of which was the onset of media attacks on Bello from nearby Abuja.

  • Kogi varsity students sack union leader

Kogi varsity students sack union leader

THE Kogi State University (KSU) Students’ Union Government (SUG) crisis has come to a head with the impeachment of the president, Philip Omepa. He was removed by the parliament for alleged funds misappropriation and destruction of the union property.

But, Philip is contending that his impeachment cannot hold because he has completed his tenure. He claimed that the Vice-Chancellor (VC), Prof Mohammed Sanni Abdulkadir prevailed on him to remain in office until the election of a new president.

The SUG’s Public Relations Officer, Cosmos Ogiri, who has been feuding with Philip for allegedly collecting bribe from Governor Yahya Bello, resigned to avoid impeachment.

CAMPUSLIFE gathered that the parliament impeached Philip during an emergency sitting, where the allegations against him were considered. It was gathered that Gabriel Okolo, member representing Animal Science Department, moved the motion for Philip’s impeachment.

The allegations against Philip include receiving the bribe from the government, embezzlement of funds for the construction of students’ centre, and refusal to appear before the committee investigating misappropriation of the N300,000 voted for national convention of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

Other allegations include embezzlement of stipends meant for members of the executive and judicial arms, destruction of union vehicle and embezzlement of money allocated for bus repair, deceit in the discharge of his duty as president and incompetency.

Conveying the parliament’s decision to the VC, Registrar, Dean of Students’ Affair, Chief Security Officer, and Nationla Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), the Speaker, Usman Attaja said it was in line with Article (3), and Article (3), (7) (4, Paragraph A) and Article (10) (1), Paragraph (a) of the SUG constitution.

The speaker urged Philip to return the union’s property in his possession and stop parading himself as president.

The Vice President, Anthony Edogbo was sworn in as Acting President. Anthony promised to correct wrongs of Philip’s tenure.

The Acting President said: “I apologise to all students for the way the affairs of the union were run by the Philip-led executive since the assumption of office. I want to assure our teeming students that efforts are being made to ensure that the institution is re-opened for academic activities.”

Reacting, Philip described the allegations as frivolous, accusing the speaker of an agenda to cause disaffection in the union. He said he was not given fair hearing by the committee set up to investigate him.

Philip described the government as the mastermind of his travail, saying the plot was to silence students while the school remains shut over teachers’ strike.

He said: “I see those who are calling the shot in the SUG as agents being used by government in its ploy to elongate the duration of the students’ stay at home. I have every reason to believe that they (parliament members) have been bought over.

“The government is using the recently constituted leadership of Kogi chapter of the Joint Campus Committee (JCC), a body that is supposed to oversee the activities of students from all campuses in the state, to weaken the students’ resolve to protest against the authorities over the continued closure of our campus.”

But, Usman, who also chairs  JCC described Philip as a “drowning man.” He denied the claims of being used by the government to destabilise the SUG. He said students were disenchanted with Philip’s leadership style.

The Governor’s Director-General of Media and Publicity Mr Kingsley Fanwo denied claims that government infiltrated the JCC. He described the allegation as a “tissue of lies”. He distanced government’s from what he described as “internal wrangling” of students, saying it would not be involved in such “trivial matter”.

The union has been embroiled in controversy, since its inauguration more than a year ago. There have been allegations and counter allegations of collusion with government to frustrate  the striking workers’ efforts to draw attention to their plight.

Former Dean of Students’ Affair Dr Usman Ogbo lampooned the students’ leaders for what he called their bad public conduct. He lamented that the union leaders were bickering over money, while academic activities have been grounded for more than three months.

Students, who spoke with CAMPUSLIFE, described Philip’s impeachment as welcome.

They said his tenure was marred by stories of failures.

Bridget David, a 300-Level Law student, said the impeachment was long overdue. She described Philip as a selfish president, adding that his leadership was corrupt and self-serving.

He said: “The cancellation of the April 1 protest remains fresh in our mind. Since that day, it was crystal clear to many of us that Philip is feeding fat on our plights.”

Other students said none of the two camps has their interest at heart.

  • APC chieftain urges KOSG to re-open tertiary institutions

Chief Simeon Ogundele, a chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC), has appealed to Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi to re-open state-owned tertiary institutions shut down in January.

Ogundele spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) on Wednesday in Lokoja, after meeting with the leadership of the students’ unions.

NAN reports that lecturers in the state’s five tertiary institutions embarked on strike in January over government’s failure to settle their salaries and arrears of assorted allowances.

The institutions include the Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, College of Education (Technical) Lokoja, College of Education, Ankpa, and Kogi State School of Engineering, Lokoja.

The politician said that it was wrong to keep students perpetually at home, and regretted that they had become victims of the lingering feud between lecturers and the state government.

He wondered why lecturers should be frustrated into embarking on strike over unpaid salaries, and suggested that teachers’ salaries be made a priority in view of their roles in societal growth.

“In developed societies, the teacher is the first to be considered for such rights. Here, it is a different situation; this is sad,” he said.

‎Ogundele advised the governor to “critically look into the lingering disagreement”, stressing that students, parents and even the lecturers were tired of the indolence.

“The governor should immediately pay what is owed the lecturers in the interest of the state.

“It is dangerous for the society to keep the youths at home for so long, because they could be tempted to jump into vices which will not help the society,” he said.

Mr Philip Omepa, President of the Kogi State University chapter of the Students Union Government, who also spoke with NAN, urged the governor to look into the plight of the students and take urgent steps toward re-opening the schools.

“The youths are the future of the society; the quality of the future depends solely on the way we treat the youths today,” he pointed out.

Omepa said that the students were tired of staying at home and wanted to go back to their classes.

  • Kogi: Two killed as LG boss escapes assassination

Two persons were reportedly killed yesterday as the administrator of Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Abdulraheem Ohiare, escaped an assassination attempt.

It was further gathered that suspected hoodlums attacked the LG administrator’s residence in Nagazi.

The gunmen were said to have stormed the residence around 2.30am, shooting sporadically, but were repelled by security operatives attached to the local government administrator.

The security agents attached to the administrator, said a source prevented the hoodlums from gaining entrance into the building.

It was however learnt that some hoodlums earlier on Friday evening attacked the residences of two close aides to the administrator in Okene and shot them dead.

The attacks which were said to have occurred around 8pm, was believed to have been a prelude to that on the administrator.

Meanwhile the Commissioner of Police Kogi State Command (CP) Wilson Inalegwu, was said to have visited the scenes of the attack.

The CP directed full investigation into the attack, while security has been beefed up in the community.

The administrator Abdulraheem Ohiare, said two persons were killed in Okene, one of them the Special Assistant (SA) Legal.

He said that the same armed men came to his house in Obangede on a mission to assassinate him, but that his security men saw them climbing his fence.

He added that the attackers eventually ran away, while packs of AK 47 and Pump Action were left behind by them.

Last weekend Senator Dino Melaye’s residence was also attacked by some gun wielding hoodlums who destroyed properties in the compound. The senator was unhurt.

  • Kogi raises the alarm over plans by Melaye -sponsored group to cause public disorder

The Kogi State government has called on the security operatives to hold Senator Dino Melaye who represents Kogi West at the National Assembly, responsible for any breakdown of law and order in the state.

The government raised the alarm over alleged plans by pro- Melaye elements to destabilize the state. The government said it was crying out “in view of the fact that the arranged pro-Melaye protest sponsored by the senator and scheduled for today (Saturday) in the state will be hijacked, and result to political hostilities and security chaos”.

Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Commander Jerry Omodara (retd.) who said this in Lokoja urged the senator to call his supporters to order, over their planned protest over last week’s reported assassination attempt on the senator.

He stated that: “It has become imperative to address the nagging political hostilities from certain quarters which is fast snowballing into a serious challenge in the our state. You are all aware of the allegation raised by Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial district that there was an attempt on his life and how the whole incident was almost politicised.

“The state government welcomes the process of investigation by the Nigeria Police, which is ongoing, to unravel the mystery behind the allegation and ensure the security of all the citizens of the state.

“However, intelligence report at my disposal indicates plans by some supporters of Senator Dino Melaye to stage a protest at Aiyetoro-Gbedde, in support of the senator on Saturday.

I am equally aware that some hoodlums and thugs are being recruited within and outside the state to join in the protest. “As much as we do not want the rights of the protesters inhibited, the implications of such a protest in the middle of investigations into the senator’s allegations may be grave, as some hoodlums may hijack the process to foment trouble and disturb public peace”.

The security adviser said he was equally not unaware that some anti-Melaye group were also drumming up a counter protest of theirs on same day, stressing that these will likely lead to chaos, He said that he had already briefed the commissioner of police and other security agencies on the need to stop any form of protest for or against in Aiyetoro- Gbedde, where Senator Malaya hails from.

“To this end, we put security agencies and Nigerians on the alert that if there is a protest on Saturday (today) and the peace of the public is disturbed, Senator Dino Melaye should be held responsible and accountable”, he said. Omodara who questioned failure by the senator’s security details to respond during the alleged attack on their principal, took a swipe on the latter for contemplating sponsorship of a protest, when the matter is still being investigated by the police.

He said, “He reported the case to law enforcement agencies who are currently investigating the incident. Does the senator no longer have faith in the security agencies by urging or supporting some youth to take to the streets in gestapo manner and create an image of insecurity? This is not what the state need now.

“The people of the state are yearning for development, which the current government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello is providing, and has severally solicited from all stakeholders to join hands and give our people the dividend of democracy.

  • Kogi and menace of expired drugs

SIR: In as much as Nigerians across the divide have given National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) a pass mark in the fight against counterfeit and fake drugs in Nigeria, little or nothing have been done by the agency as regard ridding the drug market of “expired” drugs.  The expiration date of pharmaceuticals specifies the date the manufacturer guarantees the full potency and safety of the drug. It is a fact that most drugs get expired even before their expiry date. This is caused by poor storage facilities, poor transportation network, extreme weather and climate and environmental factors. It is important to keep in mind that the expiry date of a particular drug was determined through testing of previously unopened products, stored in its original container and under a standard weather and climatic condition of temperature. Once you open a bottle, or transfer it to another container (like a prescription vial), the manufacturer’s expiry date is no longer reliable.

In Kogi State, owners of local drug shops and vendors are smiling to the banks to the detriment of the health of the public. Mobile drug vendors commonly seen in the various farm settlements across the state where the level of literacy is relatively low take advantage of the people to sell expired drugs. The inability of government to provide ample and the right drugs in dispensaries across the state has created a lacuna which the vendors are taking an advantage.

Considering the harmful effects of “expired” drugs, NAFDAC in partnership with the Kogi State Ministry of Health should urgently beam its searchlight on the activities of the local drug shops popularly called “chemists” and mobile drug vendors who handle and store drugs in ways that compromise the efficacy and potency of the medicines, making them dangerous for use even before the expiry date. Pharmaceutics are meant to be kept and stored under a certain range of temperature and climatic conditions which are not always adhered strictly to by the “chemists” and vendors. Even though the expiry date inscribed by the manufacturer of these medicines states otherwise, one may not be wrong to conclude that about 80 percent of drugs in the local drug shops are already expired and therefore dangerous to health.

Because of their spread and proximity to the rural people, most Kogites patronize the “chemists” and mobile vendors; the fact that their drugs are relatively cheaper compared to the ones of the standard and sophisticated pharmaceutical stores makes them the destination of choice for low income earners and the poor. NAFDAC and the state Ministry of Health should constantly send out a task force to checkmate activities of mobile drug vendors and to flush out, sanction and close down any chemist which fails to adhere strictly to standard in the storage of drugs. The health and wellbeing of poor Kogites are as important as that of the rich. A healthy state is a wealthy one.

Poisonous cassava: NAFDAC to sensitise farmers, food outlets in Kogi, Ondo

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) says arrangements are on to sensitise farmers in Kogi and Ondo on how to handle food chain from the farms to consumers’ table.

The NAFDAC Director, Special Duties, Dr Abubakar Jimoh, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Sunday, said operators of fast food outlets in both states would also be trained.

NAN reports that the sensitisation is coming on the heels of the death of nine people after consuming “amala’’ meal made from poisonous cassava flour.
The incident occurred in Ogaminana, Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi state in November, 2016.

Jimoh explained that NAFDAC had carried out investigation into the incident with a view to addressing the problem.

He added that some people also consumed poisonous beans in some places.

Jimoh said the agency had taken statistics of farmers and operators of all food outlets in both states that would participate in a workshop to be organised by the agency.

According to him, they will be trained on how to handle critical aspects of food chain from the farms to consumers’ table.

“We shall train farmers on the best practices and the correct way of applying fertilisers, herbicides, pesticides and other chemicals for storage of their harvests.

“We will also teach farmers how to dry their produce because they often spread them on the express way where such are exposed to contamination and it is hazardous to the health of members of the public.

“Though, this is not part of the mandate of NAFDAC as we deal mainly with processed foods, but we cannot close our eyes in a matter that affects peoples’ health,’’ he said. (NAN)
