    Entries open for the 20th edition of LAIF Awards

    The Laif Management Board has announced the official opening of entries for the 20th Anniversary of the Awards.

    Entries opened on Wednesday, September 30, 2025, and closed on October 30, 2025, while late entries will open on November 1, 2025, and close on November 5, 2025.

    To participate, interested agencies or creative persons have been advised to visit the official website of the award. “The website contains all the necessary category details, rules, and the online submission platform.

    Commenting on the award, the chairman of the LAIF Management Board, Jay Chukwuemeka, disclosed that this milestone year marks two decades of celebrating the best and brightest creative work across the industry.

    Chukwuemeka urged all agencies to use the window to showcase their most impactful and innovative campaigns from the past year.

    2025 LAIF Creative Festival, a 2-day event, is scheduled to hold between November 29, 2025, and November 30, 2025.

    New and upcoming agencies shine at LAIF Awards

    At this year’s Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festivalb (LAIF) awards, agencies were recognised for their creativity in Lagos.

    Insight Publicis amassed 327 points, winning seven gold, 26 silver, and 36 bronze, and was crowned Agency of the Year.

    X3M Marketing Ideas Limited came second, taking home 10 gold, 10  silver, and eight bronze, while Noah’s Ark Communications Limited was third, winning three gold,  10 silver, and 15 bronze.

    New and upcoming agencies shone at the awards, with Spice 360 and Ideas Origin Media making strong showing, winning four gold each.

    President of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria Lanre Adisa, said the award has grown to be a symbol of excellence and a platform that showcases ingenuity and resilience in the industry.

    Adisa, the award is a beacon for creative talent that abounds in Nigeria, setting the stage for bold ideas and impactful storytelling. He urged practitioners to ignite the flame of creativity while upholding standards in their work exceptional.

    “Let us continue to push boundaries, to innovate, to collaborate. Let us ensure that LAIF remains not just a festival but a movement—a movement that champions creativity, celebrates excellence, and inspires generations,” he said.

    Insight, X3M Ideas, others shine at 2023 LAIF Awards

    It was a night of recognition, glamour, and celebration of creative excellence at the 2023 edition of the Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) Awards as X3M Marketing Ideas Limited, Noah’s Ark Communications Limited, Insight Publicis, and Leo Burnett won big at the event.

    The award ceremony, which was held recently, at The Hall, Victoria Island, Lagos, saw the Steve Babaeko-led X3M Marketing Ideas Limited lead the medal haul with 15 Gold, 20 Silver, and 7 Bronze, which eventually resulted in the agency being named the 2023 Agency of the Year.

    Noah’s Ark Communications Limited came second on the medals table, carting home 12 Gold, 16 Silver, and 7 Bronze, while Insight Publicis and Leo Burnett emerged third and fourth, respectively. Insight Publicis won 9 Gold,  16 Silver, and 15 Bronze, while Leo Burnett won  1 Grand Pix, 9 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze.

    In his welcome remarks, the President of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Mr. Steve Babaeko, noted that the LAIF Awards remain the beacon of innovation and creativity in the advertising landscape in West Africa.
