chief Executive Officer of Lashone Group, Dr. Lanre Shonekan, has said Nigerians should develop entrepreneurial skills and contribute to country’s growth.
He spoke in Lagos at the firm’s 14th annual meeting.
Shonekan noted importance of resilience and problem-solving in business, saying: “The journey is not easy. If you take a step, it’s a drop in the ocean, but it takes resilience, especially in business. You have to be tough, discreet and manage policies, taxation and funding.”

He said entrepreneurs should identify and solve real-world problems, monetise solutions and find their niche.
The event featured launch of Lashone Club, a performance by Shelter Performing Art Group, and presentation of certificates to 170 graduates from Lashone Business School. They received free training in sewing, fashion designing, cinematography, snacks, drink and photography.
A thanksgiving session under Pastor Lawrence Onochie and goodwill messages from Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, among other agencies, were highlights of the event.
