Break-up rumour trails Nero, Leah Abiara’s marriage

THE life of society lady Leah Abiara has gone through more twists and turns than there are in a jigsaw puzzle. And if the news that has filtered in from the rumour mill is anything to go by, she is presently going through another sharp bend. It is alleged that her milk of matrimonial bliss has turned sour and she is contemplating emptying it into the gutter.

The flamboyant daughter of popular clergyman, Prophet Samuel Abiara, the retiring General Evangelist World Wide of Christ Apostolic Church, Agbala Itura, has been in and out of the news for a while now. More than once, she has been put on the spot because of her fun-loving personality which contrasts sharply with her father’s calling and disposition.

Rather than turn a new leaf upon her return to the country few years ago, she became a hit on the social scene, throwing money around as if the naira was about to go out of fashion. Her flamboyant lifestyle abated when she hooked up with a one-time darling of the Ibadan social scene, Ayotunde Samuel Omolola a.k.a. Nero. The two even started a business together before they tied the nuptial knot some years back.

As little was heard of the couple thereafter, many people assumed that they were busy enjoying a happy married life. But there are now insinuations that this may no longer be the case, if ever it was. It is alleged that the two have gone head to head like two angry rams, leaving each other with serious emotional scars.

They are even said to have waved goodbye to their marriage and relocated to different locations in the USA.

    Leah Abiara lies low

Not a few people are wondering the whereabouts of Ibadan big girl, Leah Abiara. The youngest daughter of the General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Worldwide, Prophet Samuel Kayode Abiara, has not been visible on the social scene for some time. The development might not be unconnected with the death, late last year, of her loving mother, Prophetess Christianah Aduke Abiara (nee Adasofunjo).

The sudden demise of the matriarch of the Abiara family shocked everybody, but no one was affected as much as Leah who was known to be very close to her mother in spite of her (Leah’s) reputation as a lady about town, which was said to have distanced her from other family members.

It will be recalled that Leah was a hot item whose daring exploits made the front pages of gossip tabloids in the ancient city of Ibadan. But since she tied the nuptial knot with Nero a few years back, she has been much quieter. She and her husband are said to have relocated to the US where they are living their lives in peace.

SINCE Ibadan big girl, Leah Abiara, daughter of Pastor S. K Abiara of the CAC Agbala Itura, got married to Ibadan big boy, Tunde Samuel Omolola a.k.a Nero, the story was that she relocated to America.

Years back, she returned from the US with so much affluence that she painted Ibadan red with all kinds of state of the art cars.

But Leah may have relocated to the US again, and those who should know say the controversial couple is expecting their first child.

    Leah Abiara’s changing lifestyle

It would appear that the lifestyle of the girl-about-town, Leah Abiara, has been reshaped by marriage. The controversial daughter of Pastor S. K. Abiara of the Christ Apostolic Church got married late in 2011 to Ibadan big boy, Omotunde Nero, much to the relief of family and friends.

The claim that marriage imposes a lot of responsibility on people appears to have found complete expression with Leah. She has not only adopted a quiet lifestyle since she got married, there are also speculations that she may turn fully to God and follow in the footsteps of her father in no distant future.

Before she got married, Leah was always in the news for the wrong reasons. It was so bad that her father appeared to have given up on her fast-paced lifestyle. Now happily married, the leggy Ibadan socialite has been keeping it so low that she is getting off the social scene.
