  • Legend Extra Stout unveils new 45cl bottle

    One of Nigeria’s stout brands, Legend Extra Stout, has unveiled its new 45cl bottle. The new product size was unveiled at a special celebration ceremony at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos recently.

    Tagged: “Power Of 45”the event had hundreds of guests and consumers in attendance, as hordes of Nigerians got the chance to have a first look at the new product offering from the beer company.

    Speaking after the event, the Portfolio Manager, National Premium Lager, NB Plc, Sarah Agha expressed delight at the consumers’ positive reaction to the new product offering.

    According to her, the rich history of Legend Extra Stout is one that is replete with innovation because the brand continuously focuses on optimum consumer satisfaction.

    “This unique stout brand has undergone evolutions in times past. Since it was first launched in 1992, the brand has proven its prominence in the beer industry and has undergone various changes in its bottle shape and labeling. Now, we are introducing an all-new size, a 45cl sleek master which encapsulates our new brand narrative. Our message to our consumers is – go out and pick your size! It doesn’t matter if you are a 33cl, 60cl or 45cl guy, as long as you are true to yourself, you are a Legend.”

    The launch event was full of exciting moments as consumers were treated to breathtaking performances by some of Nigeria’s A-list performers including Timaya and Chike.

  • Dance unlimited as music stars thrill residents @ Abesan

    Lagos came alive over the weekend with fun and exciting moments at Legend Extra Stout hosted  consumer engagement platform, the Real Deal Experience.

    Hundreds of residence in the state troop out en-mass for the  flagship show which live performances had top notch Nigerian music artistes as highlight of the fun-day.

    The event which held on the 25th of August at Abesan mini stadium, Abesan Estate, Ipaja saw consumers treated to non-stop musical performances, hilarious stand-up comedy, funny and poetic eulogies, entertaining games, role play as well as enlightening brand education and prize award.

    Portfolio Manager Mainstream Lager and Stout brands NB Plc. Emmanuel Agu, prior to the show affirmed that the brand was increasing the stakes at the Lagos edition and the edition was centered around giving back to Legend’s esteemed consumers for their loyalty on the stout brand. At the end of the event Mr. Agu said;

    “I am excited that another “confam” experience has hit the city of Lagos, it’s another promise delivered, fans and lovers of entertainment were brought closer to their celebrities, esteemed consumers were rewarded for their unending loyalty to Legend Extra Stout, we have gone to the grass-root and it could only have been the Legend Real Deal Experience”.

    Co-host Ifu Ennada and comedian De Don gained mastery of the audience with an epic anchoring performance which kept the audience at the edge of their seats all night long.

    Fans and lovers of music were treated to great performances from the street kings Mr Real and Slimcase as they left the crowd asking for more. The duo thrilled fun-loving partygoers by delivering electrifying performances that lit up the night via separate performances. Their energetic stage performances were deafening, the audience began an unending sing-along from Mr Real’s LEGBEGBE to Slimcase’s OTUMBA LAMBA, it was an experience worth witnessing. The audience not wanting to be outdone by the music stars took up to the stage to display some energetic dance moves.

    Over the years, Legend Real Deal Experience has been known for its legendary ‘taste, tell and win’ competition, and this edition did not prove any different. The competition is a blind taste test and participants were made to tell the difference between the taste of Legend Extra Stout and other stout brands. Winners went home with exciting prizes like flat screen TVs, generators and refrigerators, among other household items, It was an ecstatic feeling to the amusement of some members of the audience who were thrilled by how consumers blind spotted the unique taste of Legend from others.

    Coming back after being sponsors of last year’s edition, Legend Extra Stout has been announced as sponsors of the 2018 edition of TV reality show Big Brother Naija, which began on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

    Tagged ‘Double Wahala’, this season of Big Brother Naija features 20 housemates from diverse backgrounds living together in the same house for 12 weeks and competing for the grand prize of N45 million and a brand new SUV.

    Legend Extra Stout is the sole sponsor of Saturday night parties in the Big Brother Naija house, a segment which remains wildly popular with both viewers and housemates, and features some of the best DJs in Africa.

  • M.I TO HEADLINE LEGEND’S ‘REAL DEAL EXPERIENCE’

    ICONIC rapper, Jude Abaga, aka Mr incredible (MI) will headline Legend Extra Stout’s signature nationwide music tour, Real Deal Experience, in Abuja come Saturday, September 2 at The Palms, Galadimawa, Abuja.

    The Real Deal Experience, according to the organisers, is a music tour which takes Nigeria’s biggest music stars across various cities around the country to entertain local fans and provide great consumer experience.

    The tour, organisers revealed, will be making its first stop in Abuja this year after a thrilling experience in Nnewi, Enugu, Uyo and Aba in February, April and May respectively.

    During the event, consumers will be rewarded with exciting gifts such as flat screen TVs, generators and refrigerators, among other high-end household items.

    Commenting on the return of the nationwide tour, Portfolio Manager – Mainstream, Lager and Stout brands, Nigerian Breweries, Emmanuel Agu said: “In our usual tradition of giving the best to Nigerians, we are glad to bring the thrills, fun and excitement of the Legend Real Deal Experience to the Federal Capital Territory.     Also speaking, the headline act, M.I. Abaga, said, that he is super excited to be performing in Abuja. “While it’s definitely not my first time headlining a show in the city, performing in Abuja to my beautiful fans always excites me in ways I cannot easily express. So yes, I’m looking forward to it and can’t wait to thrill them in September,” he added.

    Part of the activities lined up for the event includes an online talent competition on Legend Extra Stout’s social media pages that will reward the winner with N50,000.

    It was quite an exciting experience for consumers of Legend Extra Stout recently, as wave-making singers, Terry G and Naeto C, thrilled at its promo raffle draw. The event was the first raffle draw of the 2014 edition of the Legend Extra Stout’s national consumer promotion.

    As the celebrity presenters, their first assignment was the official presentation of a dummy cheque to one of the grand prize winners, Mr. Jubilee Diagboya. Diagboya won for himself an all-expense paid trip to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates to shop for items worth one

    million naira. The stage was then set for an electrifying performance first by Naeto C, who got the crowd dancing to some of his popular hits such as Five & Six, the remix of Tony Montana in which he featured D’Banj and Ten Over Ten, among others.

    Almost immediately, Terry G, popularly called the Akpako Master, enlivened the venue with his eccentric performance. He got the crowd miming and dancing to his various hit tracks such as Oga, Yeh Oluwa, Akpako and Run Mad, among other hits. During his performance, he stepped into the crowd to acknowledge select individuals who frantically swayed to the rhythms of his songs. The highlight of his performance was when he took off one of his expensive chains and handed it over to a member of the audience as a gift.

    Thirty lucky consumers will win all- expense paid trips to Dubai and will get the opportunity to shop for items worth N1 million in value at one of the biggest shopping malls in Dubai.

    Winners have started emerging from the consumer promo.
