    COMEDIENNE/ACTOR Lepacious Bose who was a year older during the week shared the most interesting part of her birthday.

    It was a surprise package from reshapeme_nig, dealers in body products.

    “This was the high point of my birthday; I got a call from GIG that I had a package for delivery,” she said.

    “I just assumed that it was something I had ordered.

    “When the security guy handed it over I saw it was from @reshapeme_nig , I wondered what it could be because I had not ordered anything from them. So I opened it and read the most heartwarming letter ever, I was so excited. The package blew my mind.”

  • LEPACIOUS BOSE: Ghanaians don’t bleach like Nigerians

    COMEDIENNE Lepacious Bose, has chided Nigerians who engage in  bleaching in an interview with Joy Prime in Ghana.

    In the interview which she shared on her Instagram account, she was heard eulogizing  Ghanaians for their culinary excellence, stating local meals she had while in the country.

    “I think I love the Ghanaian lifestyle. The people are real. I also love the fact that most Ghanians are real. The average Ghanaian is real. And they don’t bleach… Well, most of them don’t. So when I’m in Ghana, I feel at home. We’re all black together. In Nigeria, sometimes I’m like… where am I?”

    While it was not known whether the comedienne was joking, some fans took to social media to react to her comment. .

    The buxom entertainer subsequently responded to the remarks.

    “@missobayomi_o aburo Abeg leave this ignorant people jare,” Lepacious Bose wrote.

    “If they don’t understand what I said na Dem saabi…. The words and the facial expression in the video speaks for itself. It shows I was kidding and if they don’t get it then it’s their business.”

  • 17 years after, Lepacious Bose finally wears law gown

    Talented comedienne and compere, Bose Ogunboye, popularly known as Lepacious Bose, who added a year some days back with a photo session, which included her dressed as a lawyer, revealed that it took her 17 years to finally take a picture dressed as a lawyer for her father, who she said is her hero.

    Captioning the picture, she stated, “OK dad. I know am a naughty child, but I was really called to bar and my name is on the roll lol. It’s taken me 17 years to finally take a picture for you and I hope you like it. Thank you dad for all you did and still do. This is for you my hero”.

    The comedienne who is also an actress currently is a size 14, having worked on her body from size 32.

    In a post, sharing the journey to the new phase of her life, she revealed that her nephew called her attention to her breathing which resulted to her evaluating her life and determining to trim down. With the new achievement, she is presently the brand face of a slimming brand, EZ Slim, which she said has also helped in managing her weight.

    I made more money when I was fat than when I became slim – Lepacious Bose

    A popular comedienne, Lepacious Bose, on Saturday said she made more money when she was overweight than when she became slim.

    Bose said this at a news conference to mark the 2nd anniversary of Herbal Pro’s flagship product, EZ Slim and the Unveiling of Nigeria’s First Online Health and Wellness Newsletter in Lagos.

    ”I was obese for 25-years. I was never happy being fat and I had health challenges like my thyroids were aggravating, I was depressed, for two years I was not menstruating. I was so emotional and each time I visited the hospital, they will ask me to go and lose weight.

    ”Though, I was making a lot of money because it was easy cracking jokes about my being fat. Now that I am slimming down, I do not make so much money anymore.

    ”Above all, my weight loss has been an incredible journey and I am proud of the progress I have made and I don’t intend to stop.

    ”I am also proud of the fact that my weight loss is an inspiration to others. I am happier, healthier and more confident thanks to EZ Slim product.

    ”Presently, I am now a size 16.  Two years ago, I was obese with a weight of 198kg.”

    Also speaking, Mr Kishore Uttamchandani, Managing Director, Herbal Pro said that a study by Herbal Pro Limited showed that 89 per cent of people suffering from high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes in Nigeria were either overweight or obese.

    Uttamchandani said that the study pointed to the lack of insight about healthy living as one of the causes of obesity in Nigeria.

    He said the organisation had introduced an online weekly newsletter aimed at providing information and advice on how to improve health through healthy living.

    ”There has been a significant increase in the level of internet usage in Nigeria. The internet is a key avenue for researching and passing on information.

    ”Being a company that is into health and wellness, we would like to use the newsletter to educate, inform and advise Nigerians on how best to live a healthy life.

    ”We believe that a healthy lifestyle goes a long way to reducing cases of illnesses,” he said.

    In her remarks, Ms Vivian Iweha, Public Relations Manager of the organisation, said Herbal Pro was a herbal solution company focused on improving the health of Nigerians.

    BUXOM comedienne and actress Bose Ogunboye, stage name Lepacious Bose, hit the landmark age of forty on Sunday, April 17 and celebrated it in grand style with friends, colleagues, and family. At a shindig hosted by the birthday girl were the likes of Gbenga Adeyinka, Tunde Adewale popularly known as Tee A, Owen Gee and his lovely wife Moyo, Kofi, Omo Baba, and others. The funny girl had quite a number of birthday cakes at her gig with lots to eat and drink.

    An elated Bose took to Instagram to show her appreciation to all those who showed up at her party, and showed her love. She posted of Demola Fagade, stage name Omobaba; “Omobaba comedian, I can’t believe that you came, rushed to Ibadan, and rushed back because of me. Now I know you are truly family, and I love you.”

    Speaking of Gbenga Adeyinka and Tee A, she said, “You and Tee A, after such a long day! Tired and stressed out through traffic, you got in so late. I have no pictures, but have the memories in my heart.” Of Kofi Idowu-Nuel stage name Koffi, she said, “You showed up for me bro, and am grateful.”

    Recall that the lawyer turned comedienne lost a lot of weight after a tasking weight loss journey that started two years ago, becoming a totally different woman in the process. She has now become a health food enthusiast, posting healthy living tips, as well as healthy foods, and preparation methods on Instagram.

    PLUS size stand-up comedian Bose Olufunke Osayemi, aka Lepacious Bose who reportedly shed 70kg, has finally stepped out to show off her new look; looking trimmer and happy.

    The comedienne also confirmed that, she was able to do this with determination and discipline, and not by liposuction, which is the alternative many seek.

    She stated: “Life is about determination. You make a choice, you focus and you go after your dream. Don’t allow anything distract you, focus is everything. On a Weight-loss journey you have to make up your mind to fight every day, fight for what you want, fight for where you are going, fight for how you want to look. Ignore the negative voices and maintain your focus after all it’s your life not theirs. Still celebrating my 111kg it’s been a long walk and I just want to keep walking.”

    The entertainer posted a picture showing her teeth pinned together, saying; “I remember a few years back I did this just to lose weight. The pain was hell; I was so sure I would die. I consumed more soft drinks in those few days than I did in my entire life. When I decided to remove it, the pain was deadly. I suffered oooo on top this weight matter. But this is the week of revelation…. Lol I will be revealing some of my biggest secrets in the next 48hrs…am so excited!” She said.
