A former Advert Manager of the Daily Times, Mrs Mojisola Akanni-Alimi, has been picked as president of Maryland Royal Lions Club for the 2024/25 Service Year.
She steps in as the 5th president of the club, which was chartered in 2020 by Lion Yemisi Jaiyeola, Lion Abiola Bababunmi and Lion Olabisi Bakare-Biobaku.

Lion Akanni-Alimi assumed office on Sunday at the club’s secretariat in Maryland, Lagos.
The ceremony was witnessed by club members as well as intending Lions and observers.
The club has made giant strides in four years, with a number of successful and life impacting projects in its immediate community.
