Lion Lucy Nwadinma Unegbu, PMJF, NLCF has been installed as 2nd Club President of the Lagos Elites Lions Club, District 404B2 Nigeria.
It was an atmosphere of celebration and renewed service commitment at the public presentation and fundraising ceremony of Lion Unegbu, at The Events Centre, Agidingbi, Lagos.
The event also featured the installation of the Board of Directors and the induction of new members for the 2025/2026 Lions Service Year.
Radiating humility, purpose, and leadership, Lion Lucy described her emergence as a product of collective commitment and resilience.
She emphasized that her greatest strength lies in teamwork, stressing that the Lagos Elites Lions Club is built on unity, compassion, and shared service ideals.
She said: “I stand here today because of a strong team that believes in service above self. Everything we will achieve this year will be grounded in teamwork and collaboration,” she stated confidently during her address.
The ceremony attracted distinguished personalities, family members, Lions across districts, and corporate leaders who expressed admiration for the new president’s dedication and passion for humanitarian service.
Safiat Ogunmolade, a close friend of Lion Lucy, expressed joy over her emergence as president:

Representing the family, Mrs. Onyinyechukwu Enekweizu praised the new president for her resilience and visionary approach to service:

Her father equally expressed unreserved support, adding that the family stands firmly behind her mission to uplift communities.

Lion Desmond Nkwocha, Immediate Past President and Chartered President of Lagos Elites Lions Club, described the moment as a continuation of a legacy built on passion and commitment.

Installation Chairperson and First Vice President, Lion Nnamdi Eke, reaffirmed the club’s full support for the new administration.

The District Governor of District 404B2 Nigeria, Lion Oluwakemi Erinbake, applauded the Lagos Elites Lions Club for its vibrancy and organizational strength, commending the new president for her passion for teamwork.

Dr. Victor Gbenga Afolabi, Group CEO of Hazon Holdings, served as the Guest Speaker and Father of the Day. He emphasized the importance of strategic leadership and sustainable service.
