    I once dared a blackmailer over my picture in vulnerable state, says Lizzy Jay

    Nigerian actress and content creator, Adeyela Adebola aka Lizzy Jay has revealed how she once dared a blackmailer over a picture she took in a vulnerable state.

    In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, Lizzy Jay revealed that there was a time in her life when she was very sick and had to record videos of her medical conditions to which she shared screenshots with her doctor.

    She also explained that she recorded the video using the snapchat app but never shared the videos publicly. However, she said her email, which was attached to the snapchat account, was hacked allowing the blackmailer to get a hold of the videos and pictures. She insisted that the pictures weren’t her nudes but had her in a very vulnerable state and didn’t care when the blackmailed called about it.

    Laizzy Jay further said she was confident it wasn’t anything she did wrong and dared the blackmailer to post it online to which he did.

    She said after the blackmailer posted the screenshot and she didn’t move, he dared him to do his worst to which he stopped calling her and deleted the shared picture till date.

    Popular actress and skit maker Lizzy Jay, also known as Adeyela Adebola, has revealed that comedy was never part of her original career plan.

    In an interview on Nollywood on Radio, she disclosed that she initially aspired to become a singer and a medical doctor.

    Speaking about her unexpected journey into skit-making, Lizzy Jay explained that it all began out of boredom while she was home alone.

    “Nothing was on my mind when I started making skits. What was on my mind was to do music, go to school, and become a medical doctor,” she said. “Skit-making was just a way of killing boredom. I was home alone, had my phone, and needed to do something.”

    She added that her decision to create skits wasn’t influenced by trends or other content creators. “It wasn’t like I planned or saw people doing skits and thought to copy. I was just bored, and I started making a skit,” she said.

    Lizzy’s breakthrough came when one of her skits, posted on Facebook, unexpectedly went viral after being shared by celebrities, including Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.

    The attention propelled her to take skit-making seriously, eventually establishing her as a successful content creator and actress in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

    “I knew my skit was beyond just a boredom killer after one of my skits, which I posted on my page on Facebook, was reposted by several celebrities, including Omotola Jolade on Instagram. So, at that point, I just thought I needed to continue what I started,” she added.

    Lizzy also transitioned into Nollywood, starring in films like Dear Affy, Dubara, and The Order of Things.

    Actress Lizzy Jay has addressed slim women, urging them not to succumb to societal pressure or bullying.

    In her post on Instagram, Lizzy highlighted the extreme measures people take to achieve slimness, such as using medications like Monjaro and Ozempic, and drinking various mixtures.

    Lizzy’s message served as a reminder to slim women to be confident and not let anyone make them feel inferior.

    She emphasised that they should not be pressured or bullied into conforming to societal standards of beauty.

    Lizzy wrote: “Dear Slim women, or “Dry” or whatever the society chooses to call you, have you seen the rate at which people use Monjaro (or is it Kilimanjaro you people call it and Ozempic, just to get slim? Have you seen the rate at which people drink all sorts of mixtures just to get slim? Don’t let anybody pressure you o, most importantly don’t let anyone bully you, oloriburuku ni opolopo ninu won.”

    The actress’ empowering words came after an Instagram user trolled her for her body size.

    Actress and comedienne Lizzy Jay has hit back at a social media troll who insulted her on Instagram.

    The troll, identified as @jaiyeadewunmi, had commented on Lizzy’s post, calling her “dry.”

    In response, Lizzy shared a screenshot of the comment and launched a scathing verbal attack.

    She mocked the troll’s physical appearance, describing her as “shapeless” and “ugly,” while ridiculing her arms and legs.

    Lizzy’s response was unapologetic, warning the troll not to visit her page “looking like a rejected sacrifice” and expect to go unchallenged.

    Her reaction has sparked a social media debate, with some users applauding her clapback while others criticized her for being too harsh.

    She wrote: “If you want to come to my page and be a troll, at least come correct. Don’t come to my page looking like a rejected sacrifice and think you can troll me @jaiyeadewunmi

    Blackmailer threatening to leak my nudes, says skitmaker Lizzy Jay

    Popular skit maker Lizzy Jay has alerted the public of threat to leak her nudes by a blackmailer.

    The actress revealed in a video she posted on Instagram that someone is attempting to take advantage of her suffering to publish her naked images.

    She said the individual has been calling and threatening her via messages but she is hell bent on not yielding to the threats. 

    She explained that a few months earlier, when she was quite ill and taking medicines, which cause her bad responses, is how he got access to her exposed places.

    According to her: “I have been receiving calls for some days now from someone who claims he has my nudes.

    “The video in his hands was the video I recorded through Snapchat when I had a reaction to a certain medication and I had rashes all over my body including my private part. 

    “I couldn’t have a physical examination with my doctor so I made a screenshot of the part I wanted him to see in the video. 

    “I sent it and deleted the video immediately. The man trying to blackmail me hacked into one of my email accounts and used it to gain access to my Snapchat. 

    “I will be visiting the police PRO to make a formal complaint and give them every details and picture I was able to find connecting to the blackmailer”.
