    How Pasuma flew in from Germany to shoot my film, by Mama Ereko

    Veteran actress Morenike Alausa Sulaimon aka Mama Ereko, has recounted how Fuji star Wasiu Alabi Pasuma went out of his way to support her movie project despite being outside the country at the time.

    Speaking in a recent interview, the actress said she was on set when she learnt that Pasuma, who had 22 scenes in the film, was in Germany at the time of shoot.

    To her surprise, she said he returned to Nigeria solely to fulfil his commitment.

    According to her, the singer had to make discreet arrangements so those around him would not know he was travelling.

    “He came from Germany to deliver his roles for my movie,” she said. “Pasuma knows I love him so much. I had a production where he was to play 22 scenes but he was in Germany. He left his clothes in his house there and bought new ones at the airport so his people wouldn’t know he was traveling.”

    Mama Ereko added that Pasuma returned abroad immediately after completing his scenes.

    “He came straight from the airport to my set, and after the production he left for Germany again. That’s a day I’ll never forget,” she said, noting with humour that she still owes him N10,000, “but he doesn’t even remember.”

    Veteran actress Mama Ereko has shared she was emotionally abused by her late husband.

    She said she also had to bear with his infidelity. 

    In an interview with Talk2dunnis TV, Mama Ereko revealed that her husband would bring his girlfriends home, even when she was present.

    She recalled being sent on errands to accommodate her husband’s mistresses, who would often spend the night in their home.

    Mama Ereko confessed that she felt angry but was too afraid to confront her husband, fearing his reaction.

    “Sometimes my husband would send me on an errand because his girlfriend wanted to pay him a visit in our house.

    “My husband brought home his girlfriend, and she would sleep in our home.

    “I usually get angry, but I cannot challenge my husband because I was always afraid of him,” she said.

    Seasoned actress Morenike Alausa, popularly known as Mama Ereko, has explained why she didn’t remarry after her husband’s passing.

    In an interview on Talk2Dunnis TV’s YouTube channel, Mama Ereko disclosed that she chose not to remarry to maintain her youthful looks and avoid the stress that comes with marriage.

    According to her, the physical and emotional demands of marriage can accelerate aging in women.

    She stated: “If I had remarried, you wouldn’t be praising me for still looking elegant and beautiful at my age. I didn’t remarry because the stress of having intercourse makes you look older than your age”.

    Mama Ereko also emphasised her newfound independence, saying she no longer needs a man in her life.

    “I’m already a man, so I don’t need a man again because I don’t even remember how it feels to have intercourse with a man,” she added.
