Reality TV star Maria Chike has announced the arrival of a second child, a baby girl named Skylar Rose.

The media personality took to social media to share the joyful news, expressing gratitude to God for the new addition to her family.

In her post, she wrote: “My whole existence shall never cease to praise you, Lord… My little princess, Skylar Rose, is here. 23/10. Help me thank the good Lord for all His mercies and love upon my little family.”

Maria recently celebrated her first child, Leonardo Amarana’s first birthday.

Friends and fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. 

Enioluwaofficial wrote: “Congratulations to you and yours, Maria. God bless your home and your little one!” while Bibyonce added, “Round 2 never looked better. Congratulations, gorgeous! You’re a strong woman.”

“I have loved you right from when the first two pink lines appeared. Bone of my bone, you are the one who made me a mum, the first time I held you in my arms, my life changed and it’s only been happiness since. You have my heart forever Leonardo, Your dad and I couldn’t be more thankful to God for you each day. Happy 1st birthday son,” she wrote on Instagram.

In a heartfelt and vulnerable episode, Maria shared her experiences with the mental health condition that affects many new mothers.

After giving birth, Maria revealed how she became intensely protective of her baby, refusing to let anyone else hold or care for them.

Her family and loved ones grew concerned as she became increasingly irritable and withdrawn.

“I didn’t let anyone carry my baby, and at some point, I was irritating everyone. My family thought I was mentally not okay,” Maria said

Former BBNaija housemate, Maria Chike Benjamin, has finally revealed the face of her newborn son, AmaraNna Leonardo Anene.

Maria shared some gorgeous images of the baby, who will be three months old shortly as she thanked God for his life.

She also shared the images to commemorate her adorable baby’s first Christmas.

Maria admitted that the photos were not official since she had forgotten to take them, stating that this Christmas was exceptional because she was able to celebrate with the greatest gift of her life.
