    Maureen Esisi, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, has expressed her deep regret over their marriage, referring to their five-year union as “wasted years.”

    In a candid conversation on the ‘The House Chronicles’ podcast hosted by Miracle OP, the fashion designer shared her painful experience, lamenting that she could have been a mother of two by now if she had married someone else.

    “I regret marrying him (Blossom Chukwujekwu). It was wasted years. Five years of my life, that’s a lot. I would have married somebody else and probably had two kids by now,” she said.

    She also shared her desire to become a mother, a dream she had hoped to fulfill during her marriage.

    “I wished I had kids. Because trying to have kids now is just scary and annoying. I’m currently working on having kids. I don’t know how it’s going to happen, but I must get pregnant this year,” she said.

    Maureen’s remarks shed light on the emotional toll of their failed marriage, which ended after five years.

    She emphasised that Blossom was the one who “walked away,” and she didn’t sign any legal documents, so they aren’t officially divorced.

    Maureen Esisi has declared that she and movie star Blossom Chukwujekwu are still technically married despite their highly publicised split in 2019. 

    Esisi made the claim on a recent podcast episode ‘The House Chronicles’, alleging that her ex-in-laws initially urged her to stay in the marriage only to suddenly support their son’s decision to end it.

    Esisi expressed hurt and confusion, saying they would tell her to stay, citing religious reasons, but when he finally called it quits, they conveniently forgot about God’s role in their lives.

    She emphasised that she never signed legal divorce papers, making their separation unofficial in her eyes. 

    She said: “I would call his mum, she would give me reasons why we cannot divorce. She would say, ‘It [divorce] is not of the Lord. Don’t worry, he would get better.’ And then, magically, he said he was done. And the same you guys [in-laws] that were telling me every year to stay, how come your son comes up to you that he’s done and surprisingly, you throw God out of the way?

    “My separation happened way before it became public. I’m not divorced by books. Technically, we are still married. When you say you’re divorced, it means you’ve signed papers, right?”

    This bombshell comes after Blossom Chukwujekwu remarried in June 2022, leaving many wondering about the status of his previous marriage.

    Maureen Esisi, the former wife of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, has questioned the idea of marrying someone who has been divorced twice.

    The socialite, in a now-deleted post on her social media page, questioned if marrying someone who has been married twice is not a red flag, especially when the exes are still alive.

    She added that no one can change her mind as she believes such a person is a narcissist.

    She wrote: “Is marrying someone who has been married twice already not a RED FLAG? Like both exes are still alive oo. Not one time, TWICE!!! You can’t tell me nothing, the person is a Narcissist”.
