Disturbed by the decreasing number of medical laboratory scientists in the country, Medlab West Africa has moved to tackle the issue by providing a platform where issues concerning the sector would be resolved.
It would be recalled that no fewer than 10,697 medical laboratory scientists have migrated abroad. Last year, more than 4,504 medical laboratory scientists left, leaving the healthcare sector hard hit.

But Medlab said at its exhibition and conference, which will be held from April 22-24, 2024, at Landmark Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, where the firm will also hold its inaugural Pharmaconex West Africa, the sectoral issues would be addressed by experts.
