    Eneramo gets N100m pay off from Besiktas

    Turkish Super League club Besiktas has terminated the contract of former Super Eagles striker, Michael Eneramo.

    For agreeing to leave the Turkish giants 10 months before the end of his contract, the ex-Esperance of Tunisia captain will be paid 500,000 Euros by Besiktas, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

    Enaramo has since moved to another Super Lig team, Istanbul Başakşehirspor, on a free transfer.

    Excluding performance related variables, he will take home €500,000 every year at Istanbul Başakşehirspor.

    Eneramo appeared four times for the Black Eagles in the Turkish topflight, scoring one goal.

    TURKISH club Karabükspor are exploring ways to sign Michael Eneramo from Besiktas ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window, according to reports in Turkey.

    This January, the Nigeria international was farmed out on loan to the Blue Flame due to his lack of game time at the Eagles.

    And the 28 – year – old forward has proved he is not finished commodity, with 4 goals in 11 matches in the championship.

    Aware that they may be playing Europa League football next season, one of the priorities of the Karabükspor brass is to bolster their attack with Michael Eneramo.

    To that end, the club is readying a bid thought to be in the region of one million euros to snap up the Nigerian, who has contractual obligations with Besiktas until the end of next season. Eneramo has spent the last three seasons in the Turkish Super League.

    Nigeria striker Michael Eneramo scored his first goal for Karabukspor on Sunday to propel them to a 3-1 win over Elazzigspor.

    Eneramo, who made a loan move from Besiktas this winter, is playing his second game for Karabukspor and equalised for his team in the 66th minute. Karabukspor are now seventh on the league with 30 points from 19 matches.

    Eneramo told MTNFootball.com he is excited to get his first goal for his new team and ready to score more.

    “I am happy that I have scored my first goal for Karabukspor, I am here to play as many games as I can and score as many goals as possible. It is my duty to score goals. Apart from my goal, gave an assist. It was a good all-round game for me,” he said.

    He scored one goal for Besiktas in four games before he made the switch to Karabukspor.

    Meanwhile, West Brom move up one place to 16th position and two notches away from the relegation zone following the draw.

    Fans of Rizespor remain hopeful Obafemi Martins will join the team, while Michael Eneramo could leave another Turkish club Besiktas, MTNFootball.com reports.

    Martins’ agent has denied a move by his player to Rizespor, but speculations persist the former Inter Milan star could still move in that direction.

    Rizespor transfer committee chairman, Koray Deniz was pictured with the prolific Nigeria striker in London and there are speculations that they discussed his possible transfer to the Turkish club, according to fanatik.com

    MTNFootball.com says the nomadic Seattle Sounders striker has attracted interest from Galatasaray, who have ex-Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini as coach.

    West Ham United boss, Sam Allardyce has also dismissed speculations he is in the market for Martins, who he worked with at Newcastle.

    Super Eagles striker Michael Eneramo will have to wait longer for his first goal for his new club Besiktas as he was denied action in Sunday’s 2-0 home win over Gaziantepspor in a Super Lig duel.

    Eneramo apart from not featuring in Sunday’s game was not even on the bench.

    Hugo Almeida was the star man for Besiktas on Sunday as he netted a brace in the 29th minute and 36th minute to secure all three points for the hosts.

    The latest victory is the third successive win for Besiktas who have enjoyed a perfect run so far in the 2013/14 League campaign.

    Michael Eneramo has said he underwent a knee surgery and not a heart operation as reported by the media.

    “I didn’t undergo a heart surgery. What I did was a minor surgery on my (knee) meniscus. It was a successful one and I will recover in two, three weeks to join my team Besiktas. I don’t know where the story of heart operation came from. It was not true,” the Nigeria striker told MTNFootball.com

    Eneramo has signed a two-year deal with the Turkish giants Besiktas and will join the team’s training camp in Austria soon ahead of the resumption of the new season.

    Last season, the big striker fired 12 goals in the league for another Turkish club Sivasspor.

    He featured for Lobi Stars in the Nigeria league as well as Esperance of Tunisia.

    Nigeria striker Michael Eneramo has expressed his happiness after completing a switch to Besiktas on Thursday.

    The former Esperance de Tunis skipper had earlier failed a routine medical test at the Istanbul side.

    Eneramo put pen on paper on Thursday in Turkey and would soon join the rest of the squad in training camp in Austria.

    “I have passed all the medicals and I signed the contract paper with Besiktas. I am happy that the storm is over.

    “I am looking forward to settle down to business with my new team. I’m expected to join my team mates in Austria for pre-season training soon,” Eneramo told MTNFootball.com.

    Nigeria international striker, Michael Eneramo, bagged a hat-trick for Sivasspor in the team 4-1 win over Istanbul BB in a Turkish Super Lig game on Saturday evening, Kickoffnigeria.com reports.

    Eneramo scored in the 26th minute to double Sivasspor’s advantage after Kocak had put them in front with a 5th minute strike.

    Doka Madureira pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 30th minute, but Eneramo ensured the hosts held unto their two-goal cushion with another goal in the 42nd minute.

    The former Esperance striker completed his hat-trick in the 56th minute to sign-off a miserable day for Istanbul BB who had Nigeria’s Simon Zenke on the pitch for the entire duration of the game.
