    The Nation reported on Monday that the filmmaker made history as the first filmmaker to hit N2 billion at the box office.

    Reacting to the news, Bimpe, on Instagram, declared Funke the Queen of the box office, praising her for continuously breaking records.

    Describing it as inspiring, Bimpe expressed pride in Funke, saying, “My Queen has shattered records again! I was so sure this would happen and was just patiently waiting. The record breaker! Congratulations, my mama. This is huge.

    Actress Juliana Olayode has expressed gratitude to colleague, Mo Bimpe, for using her platform to raise awareness about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) through her film “Healing”.

    Juliana praised Bimpe for her efforts in educating the public about the virus, emphasising the importance of open conversations about health issues, particularly in marriages.

    She also encouraged women to get tested for HPV, highlighting the need to prioritise health and wellness.

    Olayode, on Instagram, wrote: “I heard about HPV for the first time when @mo_bimpe told me she’ll be doing a film on HPV. All my life I’ve never heard of it. Thank you for using your platform to create an awareness on HPV @mo_bimpe I am so proud of you and your work.

    “One of the things I learnt from seeing HEALING is that ignorance is costly. I also learnt that as a society, we need to stop shaming people, when it comes to marriage, we must have the difficult conversations and be willing to give grace to our partners. When we encounter problems or challenges, we should go through it together in love. I can go on and on.

    “We all need to get tested, especially women. Let’s go do our HPV test, above let’s do all we can to take care of our health and stay healthy”.

    Actress Mo Bimpe warns fans about impersonation scam on TikTok

    Actress and producer Mo Bimpe has called on her fans to report a TikTok account, @mobimpeadedimeji0, which she says is fake and impersonating her.

    In a post on Instagram, Mo Bimpe revealed that the page has been sharing demeaning content and falsely presenting it as if she posted it.

    She urged her followers to continue reporting the account until it is taken down, stressing that her only official TikTok handle is @queenmobimpe, which has 2 million followers.

    The actress appealed to her fans to help stop the impersonation and safeguard her online identity.

    Actress and producer Mo Bimpe has reacted to her viral crying video. 

    According to her, the video was taken from a movie set, not a real-life breakdown due to troll abuse about inability to give birth.

    Mo Bimpe, in her Instagram story, expressed frustration over people sharing the clip to deceive fans and gain social media traction.

    She wished misfortune on those spreading false information and assured her fans she’s doing fine.

    Mo Bimpe emphasised that as an actress, her emotional scenes are part of her job and shouldn’t be misconstrued as real-life struggles.

    She urged people to stop sending her messages about the viral video and expressed appreciation for her fans’ support.

    She wrote: “I usually don’t do this, but the DMs are becoming overbearing. All of you who are circulating my location/set videos for traffic on your page on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, it shall never be well with every one of you. May you have reasons to cry, and may your family cry over you. You will never have peace as you have decided to deceive my followers, fans, and supporters with your fake news.

    “I don’t know what you are thinking, but I am very fine! I will not have any reason to cry or share my private matters on social media. If you see any video of me crying, then it’s obviously work! Location pictures! Set videos!

    Mo Bimpe lauds Ibrahim Yekini ‘Itele’ over role in Lisabi movie

    Actress Mo Bimpe has written a glowing tribute to colleague and friend, Ibrahim Yekini Bakare, popularly known as Itele or Itele D Icon.

    She appreciated  Itele’s dedication, hard work, and support during the production of the movie LISABI.

    Mo Bimpe, on Instagram, praised Itele’s portrayal of SALAKO, a loyalist and courageous EGBA farmer, describing his performance as “beyond applaudable.”

    She also commended his commitment to the project, noting that he arrived at the training camp before her and her husband, and remained dedicated throughout the 40-day production period.

    The actress further highlighted Itele’s multifaceted talents, citing his involvement in various aspects of the production, including training coordination, dialogue coaching, and costuming.

    She also appreciated his support and encouragement, revealing that he helped her with the Egba language and was a shoulder to cry on during challenging moments on set.

    She described him as her first friend in the industry and a “bestie”, while also expressed her gratitude for his presence and support in LISABI, emphasising the importance of surrounding oneself with genuine and like-minded individuals who share one’s vision.

    “SALAKO is one of LISABI’s loyalists and a courageous EGBA farmer! And @iteledicon01 isn’t just a friend in LISABI the movie, he’s a real one in real life too! The way he embraced his role and absolutely nailed it, was I surprised ? NO! Because he always deliver!

    “Now, let’s talk about how genuine and supportive he is! Itele arrived at Oyo(training camp) even before my husband and I, ready to give his all, before training, throughout training, during the shoot, and he stayed with us until we finally shouted ‘It’s a wrap!’ That’s over 40 days of dedication and hard work! He was active in all departments! The training coordinator, a dialogue coach, assistant producer, costuming, music coach, literally everywhere to just ensure the success of this project! He stood by me, supported me,and also helped me with the Egba language. He is truly an amazing soul! Even when there were challenges on set, Itele isn’t one to break down. He will always read my lines with me! I remember he even recommended some movies for me to watch for inspiration ( though I didn’t watch all of it, confession time!) He was a shoulder to cry and lean on!

    Popular actress, Adebimpe Oyebade, better known as Mo Bimpe, has expressed excitement as her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, bags his first lead role nomination at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

    The Nation reported that the AMVCA has released its 2024 nominees list for the 10th edition of the prestigious award.

    The actor has been nominated for the best lead actor for his exquisite performance in Femi Adebayo’s movie, ‘Jagun Jagun’.

    Taking to her Instagram page, Mo Bimpe, who celebrated her birthday a few days back, stated that the news was the most sensational gift to her.

    She expressed pride in her husband as she stated that she was never in doubt of him as she noted how his hard work, dedication and professionalism have never gone unnoticed.

    She said: “Yay Hubstar @adedimejilateef has been nominated for the big one, the best lead actor at the 10th AMVCA… What a sensational birthday gift for me.
