Fiorentina and Italy striker Moise Kean has won the award for November’s Serie A Player of the Month (POTM).
“The EA SPORTS FC Player Of The Month award for November has been assigned to Fiorentina player Moise Kean,” Lega Serie A said in a statement. “The trophy will be presented during the pre-match of Fiorentina vs. Cagliari, scheduled for Sunday 8th December 2024 at 12.30 pm at the “Artemio Franchi” stadium in Florence.
“The fans’ votes, combined with individual statistical data, determined Moise Kean as the winner, beating champions like Buongiorno (Napoli), Dimarco (Inter), Lookman (Atalanta), Thuram (Juventus), Zaccagni (Lazio).”
Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo said: “This season, Moise Kean has reached full maturity, expressing himself at very high levels, in line with the great talent that has always been recognised, rewarding Fiorentina`s decision to assign him full responsibility for the Viola attack.
“The five goals scored in the month of November alone have guided Fiorentina into the noblest areas of Serie A, as well as earning him today the second place in a scorers’ chart that promises to be as exciting as the whole championship”.
Lega Serie A also confirmed that Atalanta’s Gian Piero Gasperini was the Serie A Coach of the Month in November.

In a related development, Fiorentina goalkeeper David De Gea is the best-performing Serie A player in the opening 14 rounds, according to average player ratings* in Italy.
The ex-Manchester United star has an average rating of 6.75, while his Fiorentina teammate Moise Kean ranks second with 6.67. The Italian striker has nine goals and one assist and was the best Serie A Player in November.
Lazio’s Nuno Tavares, who missed the last few games due to injuries, has the same average rating as Kean.
Fiorentina, Lazio and Atalanta have two players each in the top 10. Tavares’ teammate Mattia Zaccagni makes the 7th position, while Atalanta strikers Ademola Lookman and Mateo Retegui rank 4th and 9th , respectively.
Milan and USMNT star Christian Pulisic makes the top 10 with a 6.5 average rating, like Nicolò Barella, Federico Dimarco and Ardian Ismajli.
