    MoneyMaster Payment Services Bank (MMPSB) continues to delight its existing customers by offering a variety of freebies on every transaction.

    The bank which recently announced the launch of a new 100MB data offer for new customers, said the freebies come with each transaction.

    MoneyMaster recently launched a 10 per cent data bonus for existing and new customers on the Glo network for recharges of N1000 or more. The offer is one of the best in the country based on the volume of data being awarded to customers.

    The data purchases come with a-30-day validity and unused data can be rolled over upon next plan subscription.

    Head of Agency Banking at MoneyMaster, Julius Arhebun, said: “As a payment service bank, one of our core mandates is to promote financial inclusion. This offer builds on the various financial education we have been providing online and across our various customer touchpoints.

    “With this new 100MB offer, we want to encourage Nigerians in the unbanked and underbanked pools to be financially included by having at least a mobile wallet. The account number of this mobile wallet is derived from their mobile number, and can be easily recalled.”

    The initiative is envisioned to incentivize the unbanked and underbanked population to ease the creation of their own mobile wallet via its USSD banking platform. The promo is available for Glo customers using the bank’s USSD banking code, *995#.

    Leading payment service bank, Moneymaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB) will grace the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival in order to promote mobile wallet in the bid to deepen customers’ usage of the payment platform.

     Moneymaster has been engaged in a month-long market activation, engaging indigenes of Ijebuland to come onboard its digital banking platform – mobile wallet. Moneymaster mobile wallet avails customers the opportunity to transfer or withdraw cash from an agent, buy airtime and pay utility bills.  

    Moneymaster disclosed in a press statement that during this month-long activation, customers in Ijebuland who open an account stand a chance of winning free airtime amongst other gift items.

    The PSB noted that the drive towards a cashless economy can become a reality when the bulk of Nigerians embrace mobile wallet so as to help them cultivate a more convenient saving habit and also enable them make payment with ease.

    “While we rejoice with the people of Ijebuland at this time, we also want to showcase what we have in Moneymaster’s mobile wallet that can help various people to enjoy seamless banking from their phones”, the statement exlained.

    MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB), Nigeria’s top payment service bank, is commemorating the 2024 Global Money Week by focusing on educating youngsters on financial literacy.

    This year’s edition of the Global Money Week started on March 18 and would end on 24, 2024.

    The goal of Global Money Week (GMW) is to raise awareness about the value of making sure that young people are financially literate from an early age and gradually acquire the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviour needed to make wise financial decisions and eventually achieve financial well-being.

    The focus of the 2024 edition: “Protect Your Money, Secure Your Future,” is responsible money handling. It emphasizes how crucial it is to handle personal finance responsibly and intelligently by guarding one’s hard-earned money and being aware of any potential hazards in the financial industry.

    MMPSB is embarking on a “Catch them Young” experiential campaign to teach kids in schools the importance of savings and investment culture. About 5,000 students are to be engaged through the week-long financial literacy programme which will be done through the bank’s coordinating centres across 10 states.

    Glo-powered MoneyMaster PSB’s customer base widens

    Glo-Powered MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank (MMPSB), a major  payment service bank, has recorded massive growth in its customer base as it added a new bouquet of services to its operations.

    The positive growth is as a result of innovations and services introduced in the past few months by the PSB to delight its customers in the country.

    Licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in August 2020, MoneyMaster PSB facilitates payments and remittance services within Nigeria, accepts deposits from individuals and small businesses, issues debit and prepaid cards, operates electronic wallets, inbound remittances, and carries out other services in line with CBN regulations.

    Its focus is the unbanked and under-banked segment in Nigeria in order to deepen financial inclusion. It launched commercial operations in May 2022, and has continued to experience expansion in its client base with hundreds of potential customers leveraging its digital channels such as USSD, mobile app and internet banking to open accounts, buy airtime and data, pay utility bills and more.

    Sources indicate that more Nigerians are joining the bank to enjoy the wide array of services on offer and conduct their financial transactions with ease and with assurance of security of their transactions.

    There are currently over 4,000 billers on the MMPSB platform and the number is growing on a daily basis. Through the platform, customers are able to pay for many essential services such as airtime, data, electricity, cable subscription, etc.

    The immediate future holds bigger promise for customers of the payment service bank as it gears up to retool and reengineer for better customer experience. Several new initiatives are set to be unveiled to delight customers soon.
