Rotary Club of Omole-Golden has installed Mr Adekunmilola Adio-Moses, director general of Public Service Staff Development Centre, as its 22nd president. The ceremony was held at 10 Degrees Event Centre, Oregun, Lagos, drew dignitaries from within and outside Rotary.
Adekunmilola noted a life shaped by service, commitment to humanity and meaningful change through deliberate action. He said Rotary taught him that “service above self” was a way of life.
The theme for the Rotary Year is: ‘Unite for Good’, which calls for unity in tackling community challenges.
Adekunmilola pledged to prioritise impactful projects in health, empowerment, environmental sustainability and education.
Wife of Lagos State governor, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, represented by Mrs. Funmilayo Omotoso, urged the leadership to champion causes that align with overnment’s development agenda.
Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, Ope George, delivered an address on role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in advancing Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

He stressed the need for collaboration between institutions such as Rotary and the public sector to build a better future.
Outgoing president, Jide Ogunleye, was hailed for his leadership and successful project execution during his tenure.
He formally handed over to Kumi amid cheers and a symbolic pinning ceremony.
The event featured musical performances, award presentations and a showcase of the club’s achievements.
A documentary chronicling the club’s legacy of service since its chartering was also showcased. With a renewed sense of purpose and unity, the club is set to embark on a new chapter defined by inclusive leadership and transformative projects.
