…to battle APC’s Igbinedion at poll
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has selected Mr. Johnny Ikponmwosa Aikpitanyin as its candidate for the upcoming by-election in Ovia Federal Constituency, scheduled for next month.
Aikpitanyin, who was the sole aspirant cleared to contest the primary, emerged unopposed during the exercise held in Iguobazuwa, the headquarters of Ovia Southwest Local Government Area, where delegates affirmed his candidacy.

He will face Barr. Omosede Igbinedion, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming poll.
