Executive Director, MTN Foundation (MTNF), Odunayo Sanya, has revealed that 1,000 female entrepreneurs will directly benefit from investments totaling N600 million during the official launch of Phase 2 of the Y’ellopreneur initiative at the telecom company’s head office in Lagos. This initiative comes in commemoration of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2024.

She said the application for the programme which officially opened last Tuesday is designed to target female entrepreneurs in medium enterprise groups who have a minimum of SSCE educational background; display passion and commitment to self-employment and run an existing business of two years and above in particularly circular economy type of business – manufacturing, processing, agriculture, ICT/digital services, waste management , energy generation, etc with focus on businesses that source most of their raw material locally.
