Traders and business owners at Alaba International Market have expressed their support for the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming local government election, Muhibat Rufai.
Leaders and members of the traders’ associations gathered at the Electronic Garage Market to endorse Rufai, praising her dedication to revitalizing Ojo LG and tackling pressing challenges them at the market.
President of the Alaba Council of Sectional Heads and the International Market Association, Chief Camillus Nnamdi Amajuoyi Uzochukwuwara, said: “Our community is committed to supporting the ruling party to foster meaningful development,”

“Our roads are in terrible condition, damaging goods, causing accidents, and injuring residents—leading to significant economic losses,” he added.
Supporters, dressed in APC colours and waving banners, chanted slogans of unity and progress while Rufai expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming support and reaffirmed her commitment to the community’s welfare.
“I am here to listen and represent your interests,” Rufai stated. “If entrusted with this position, I will prioritize creating a conducive environment for businesses to thrive and address your concerns,” she said.
