    Recare Limited, owner of Natures Gentle Touch has announced the launch of a new corporate website.

    The launch of the website represents the next step in the company’s overall digital strategy designed to strengthen it’s growing direct to consumer engagement.

    “Digital offers a strategic transformation of our business and the way we dialogue with our consumers” said the founder and Managing Director, Chika Ikenga over the weekend in Lagos, Nigeria.

    “We view our digital assets as important platforms to connect customers with knowledge and beauty solutions they require to express their personal style” he continued.

    The website tells the company’s story that has enabled it to build successful beauty brands. It also highlights Recare’s heritage that provides the company the foundation to keep the promise made to customers.

    Recare Limited has launched several successful digital initiatives to build consumer reach and engagement. The company has built up more than 1.4m Facebook followers for Natures Gentle Touch brand and 84,000 followers on Instagram. It recently launched a new website for her international South African hair care brand Hairsavvy.

    Recare International, owners of personal style brand, Natures Gentle Touch, introduced the new Instant Balance Hair Conditioner for women during an open house event in Lagos on Wednesday.

    The Instant Balance Conditioner replenishes lost moisture faster with its herbal blend protein complex formula, five minutes after application to the hair, unlike other conditioners that required sitting in the hair accelerator for more processing times over 15 minutes.

    Speaking in a statement, Operations Manager, Recare Limited, Mr. Daniel Anim-Appiah said:  “We wanted to do something special, to celebrate and appreciate customer loyalty, we recognize how precious time is to our women, and we are glad to be proffering the right and quick solution to their hair needs.

    In a bid to foster customer loyalty, Natures Gentle Touch Brand Ambassador, Oluchi Orlandi has rewarded female fans who post pictures of themselves with the Natures Gentle Touch billboards across the country.

    During the course of the campaign, each of the winners used their Instagram handles with hashtag #OluchiNGT to post real time pictures of themselves, standing next to any of the company’s billboards spotted on the Street, Highways and malls of Nigeria to get rewarded. Participants in the ‘#OluchiNGT’ won N7, 500 worth of hair products each.

    Recare extends free hair consultation to varsities

    Natures Gentle Touch has extended its free hair consultation campaign to tertiary institutions across the country, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative in Nigeria.

    The campaign which kicked off at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) is aimed at educating individuals, especially women on how to grow, care, and maintain healthy hair and scalp by cultivating healthy hair routine.

    Speaking on this development, Field Education Manager, Recare International, manufacturers of Natures Gentle Touch, Mr. Daniel Komla, noted that the campaign was borne out of the need to empower women with the knowledge to make informed choices in the face of frequent hair and scalp challenges.

    He added that the Healthy Hair Campaign focuses on educating women on the various unhealthy habits they indulge in that make their hair vulnerable to breakage, receding hairline, sensitive scalp and eventual hair loss.

    It is in a bid to reinstate its commitment to promote love for natural hair that Recares is providing a week-long free hair consultations which kicked off on July 18 and it features a one-on-one consultations with skilled hair consultants. Consumers, who have taken advantage of the period have had access to free hair diagnosis, professional hair care tips and practical demonstrations on ways to maintain healthy hair.

    Natures Gentle Touch now in Owerri mail

    Recare International, owners of Natures Gentle Touch has announced that customers in Owerri can now purchase any of its hair and scalp solution products at Shoprite supermarket in the newly commissioned Owerri Mall, following the grand opening of the Mall over the weekend.

    In line with its promise to provide proven solutions to every hair and scalp problems, the company said: “We are really excited about increasing our presence in Owerri, although our products are already available in major stores here, being in Shoprite also allows us reach more customers and allow us meet the growing demand for our products in this market.”

    This is contained in a statement issued by Recare Marketing Manager, Kunmi Balogun.

    The grand opening was hosted by the Imo State Governor, Owele Rochas Okorocha who commissioned the mall and declared it open.

    The Governor noted that he was particularly happy with the new development, stating that Imo was indeed better at 40.

    He expressed optimism that the new mall would bring a variety of options for Imo indigenes at affordable prices while creating jobs.

    Also speaking at the sideline of the ceremony, some customers expressed joy at the presence of Nature Gentle Touch products.

    Natures Gentle Touch has announced the appointment of international African model and Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes as her brand ambassador.

    Manufactured by Recare Cosmetics International, the company made the announcement on Friday.

    According to a press statement issued, this is building on the brand’s global vision and strategic expansion into African countries. Ms Lopes, who is from Angola, will also represent Hairsavvy, the International South African haircare brand acquired by Recare in 2004.
