FC Ifeanyi Ubah handler Yaw Preko has stated that he is happy with his team and he will only bring in one or two players.
“We didn’t start the season too well but gradually we’ve found our feet but we have to keep working hard as the season progresses,” Preko told Goal.
“I don’t think we need to bring in too many players perhaps one or two will do to fill some gaps but apart from that I am happy with the team.
“We want to finish the first round on a high note, take a break and then come back to the second round and take it a match at a time. It’s obvious we need to raise our game, a lot is expected from us but we have to be on our toes to make sure we deliver.”
The Anambra Warriors will host Shooting Stars today and Preko stated that the team is prepared.
“Like every other game we prepare well and we are well prepared ahead of this match against Shooting Stars today. We want to finish the first round on a high note,” he said.

Dolphins coach pleased with new signings
Dolphins coach Stanley Eguma has praised his new signings after Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Abia Warriors at home, saying they were unlucky not to have won the game.
“I’m impressed with the performance of my new players. We scored and they equalised. It’s football and there is nothing we can do about it, our focus now is the next game,” Eguma said.
The Dolphins coach gave three players starts in the game- Godwin Obinze from Joseph Yobo Academy, Oghogho Oduokpe from Bayelsa United as well as Ebuka Nnebue.
And in the second half, Eguma threw in Ebitimi Agogo, who just signed from Bayelsa United for Ifeanyi Egwim, and Abia Israel from FC Inter. Isiaka Olawale after half an hour put Dolphins ahead after fine work from Egwim.
Egwim had run down the flanks and his cross was parried by the goalkeeper onto the path of Olawale, who blasted home. Nine minutes later, former Dolphins boy Bolaji Sarkin drew level the visitors.
Chisom Chikatara lifted the ball over two Dolphins defenders and Sarkin sped past them, controlled coolly, before tucking in behind onrushing goalkeeper Godwin Ayalogu.
