    News Central, Aviation Ministry partner on strategic projects

    News Central Television is exploring strategic collaborations with the Nigerian Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development following a courtesy visit by the station’s Director of Commercial and Communications, Mrs. Rosemary Egabor-Afolahan, to the Minister, Festus Keyamo (SAN), in his Abuja office.

    The meeting, which was held on Thursday, focused on key areas of potential partnership. Discussions revolved around collaborations and promoting the aviation sector’s contributions  to national development.

    A Nigerian independent 24-hour news and media television channel, based in Lagos, News Central, has emerged the ‘Fastest Growing Broadcast Station of the Year 2024,’ at the annual Independent Awards.

    The event was held in Lagos last Saturday.

    According to News Central’s management, the honour cements the station’s position as a leader in delivering impactful journalism across Africa and beyond.

    Management further stated that the award recognizes News Central’s dedication to excellence in storytelling and investigative reporting and its commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices.

    Several dignitaries, high net-worth individuals and captains of industries such as the Executive Governor of Oyo State,  Engr. Oluseyi Makinde; the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; Otunba Mike Adenuga Jr, Chairman of Globacom and more were also recognised for their outstanding contributions to the Nigerian polity.

    News Central Tv has recently announced partnership with Nairametrics, a leading financial literacy and advocacy platform, to launch “MarketPulse,” a new stock market show.

    MarketPulse is designed to provide viewers with comprehensive coverage of the Nigerian Exchange, offering in-depth analysis and updates on key activities within the Nigerian financial landscape. 

    The show will also extend its focus to selected African markets and notable stock exchanges worldwide, ensuring viewers are well-informed about global financial trends.

    The show provides viewers with multi-layered discussions into the state of the Nigerian exchange and current happenings.
