Kusada said the Federal Government has so far invested about N1.06 trillion on the programme, but wondered why Nigerians have not felt the benefits it was supposed to bring.
The committee chairman said the government designed the programme as a social safety net to provide needed succour and relief to Nigerian citizens in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the removal of fuel subsidy, and the unification of exchange rates, with the attendant inflationary pressures and economic hardships.
