    Purp emerges winner of Nigerian Idol Season 10

    Purp has been crowned the winner of Nigerian Idol Season 10 after a thrilling finale that saw her compete against co-finalist, Raymu.

    With the highest number of votes, Purp took home a grand prize package, including a brand-new SUV, N30 million cash, a DStv Explora subscription, and a music deal.

    In an emotional reaction, during the live show on Sunday, Purp expressed gratitude to everyone who supported and voted for them, calling the moment “surreal” and promising to share more music with the world.

    “This moment feels surreal. I’m so grateful to everyone who voted, supported, and believed in me. This is just the beginning, and I can’t wait to share more music with the world”, she said.

    The grand finale featured stellar performances, celebrity appearances, and heartfelt moments, with judges Omawumi, Ric Hassani, and Iyanya praising both finalists for their growth and determination.

    Audition opens for Nigerian Idol Season 10

    Multichoice Nigeria has opened auditions for the highly anticipated 10th season of Nigerian Idol.

    The audition began on Friday, January 17, 2025, and is expected to close on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Organisers encourage young Nigerians aged 16 to 30 to take a bold step towards realising their dreams.

    According to a statement by the organisers, the 10th season is themed: ‘Your Voice, Your Victory.’

    To audition, participants must record a 30-second video of themselves singing a song of their choice and upload it to the Africa Magic website.
