Chief Executive Officer, NGX Regulation Limited, Olufemi Shobanjo, who spoke at the second edition of the Fintribe Finance Fair, with the theme: Women, Wealth, and Power, underscored the transformative impact of women’s financial empowerment on communities.
He noted that Nigerian Exchange Group has developed tools including NGX Invest and USSD Code to simplify access to the capital market.

Shobanjo advised attendees to set clear financial goals and adopt long-term investment strategies while acknowledging persistent gender gaps in workforce participation and income equality.
He highlighted NGX RegCo’s commitment to women’s empowerment through initiatives like EquipHER, developed with Women’s World Banking and Oxford University.
The FinTribe founder, Jennifer Awirigwe urged women to leverage capital market opportunities for wealth creation.
