Actor Ninalowo Bolanle has shed light on the debilitating effects of emotional abuse.

The actor, known for his roles in various Nollywood films, explained how narcissists manipulate and control their victims through isolation, leading to a loss of self-identity and increasing dependence on the abuser.

He highlighted the severe consequences of such abuse, including depression, substance abuse, and a loss of inner child energy.

He wrote on Instagram: “With isolation, a narciss.st puts you in a state of learned helplessness where you have complete control. Resistance doesn’t work anymore.

“You’ve given up regaining control and have gone into survival mode. At this point, you might start to get depressed and feel incompetent or even dabble in substance abuse to escape your reality.

“Now the narciss.st have you where they want you: complete dependence and a total loss of self-identity.

“That inner child energy you once had is gone. You exist for them. But you can heal & thrive! You are not alone Share your view or opinion. Namaste.”

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has addressed a controversial viral video on social media, where an individual with a tattoo resembling him is involved in explicit behaviour.

The trending video on the internet showed an unidentified man with strikingly similar tattoos as Ninalowo.

Reacting to the speculation on Saturday in a clip on his page, Bolanle Ninalowo denied the rumour, noting that he will never disappoint himself, his family and his fans by making such a video.

He said: “That video is not me, like I said this is my tattoo, you can look at it over and over again. Stop circulating this negative thing about me, I’m not the one in the video guys, please let this end.”
