Stormers FC have officially earned promotion to the NNL after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Real Sapphire in their final playoff game today.

They needed to beat Real Sapphire who were ahead before the final games and hope that Joy Cometh and Ebedei played a draw or the latter emerged victorious.

Stormers scored first and were leading 1-0 even till the 80th minute before Real Sapphire equalised. The Abeokuta based side managed to get the winner before the final whistle.
