Ikorodu City head coach, Nurudeen Aweroro is reportedly on the verge of being appointed as the new gaffer of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), following a successful agreement on personal terms with the club.

Aweroro is set to depart his current position at Ikorodu City FC to fill the vacancy at the Ibadan-based club following  the  sack  of Gbenga Ogunbote by the newly constituted 3SC management.

Aweroro  made headlines last season after guiding Ikorodu City to an impressive fourth-place finish in their debut campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). He took over the reins of the Lagos-based side midway through the season, following the exit of Bright Ozebagbe.
