    Nutricima Limited, a subsidiary of PZ Cussons, has re-launched its premium milk, Olympic, as part of measures to encourage Nigerians to embrace a more active lifestyle. The relaunch will see the brand roll out a new look in the coming months with a new nutrition proposition, “Active For Longer”, while still sticking to its promise of quality nutrition and low cholesterol content.

    At a briefing on the relaunch at the company’s Ilupeju office, the Marketing Director, Mr. Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, said the newly- improved Olympic Nutri-Active milk demonstrates Nutricima’s commitment to providing consumers with nutrients to live a healthy and more active life.

    He said: “So many Nigerians work very hard and are actively engaged in one activity or the other. The new Olympic Nutri-Active is specially formulated to help consumers stay active all day long, regardless of the nature of what they are engaged in.

    “As a company, we understand that as much as people are disposed to an active lifestyle, the prevailing circumstances may cause them to be easily overwhelmed, tired or bow easily to anxieties, work stress and other pressures which can adversely affect their productivity, hence we are committed to helping the Nigerian consumers stay active and healthy at all times.

    “With Olympic Nutri-Active, people have the option of having a milk that contains all the essential nutrients they need to live a really active lifestyle and still not fret about their cholesterol level,” he added.

    The Category Marketing Manager, Olympic, Raphael Agbaje, said the brand realised the need to support consumers and help them achieve more.

    Nutricima unveils Olympic powdered milk, flavoured drink

    Nutricima Limited has unveiled two new variants under the Olympic brand of products.

    The firm now offers Olympic Powdered Milk and ready-to-drink Olympic Apple Flavoured bottled drink to join the popular Olympic Evaporated Milk which has always been in the market.

    The new rich and nutritious milk comes in 16g single serve sachet and 300g family pack, while the grab-and-go Olympic Apple Flavoured food drink is available in 500ml bottle, while the 160g evaporated milk now has the rebranded pack.

    According to the company, the Olympic Powdered milk and Olympic Apple Flavoured Drink offer nourishment, vitality and healthy choices to children, youths, adults, every home and family.

    Speaking at the occasion, its Managing Director, Mr. Suneel Vasudevan, said: “We commence today a new phase of our journey aimed at empowering consumers in Nigeria across West Africa with healthy choice in milk, one of the most important nutritious products known to man.

    “Olympic Milk is the first of our key brands. Market insight shows that Olympic Milk as an evaporated milk brand leads the economy segment of that market. We have now strengthened the brand as an added-value beverage that consumers can access in various formats,” he said.

    Its Head of Marketing,  Mrs. Wande Oluwasegunfunmi, said: “The new products under the Olympic milk portfolio have been improved to give our teeming consumers the highest level of value they can get for their money,” adding that, “the 500ml  ready to drink apple flavoured drink is made from the best quality European apples and is highly refreshing.

    Nutricima, the makers of Coast, Nunu, Olympic milk and other nutritious food drinks, said its choice of the award-winning Hip-hop Star is premised on the fact that his qualities perfectly portray the essential goodness offered by the brand including vitality, fitness and health which Olympic milk offers to youths, adults and families in Nigeria.The event was attended by Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon.     Nutricima Limited has launched its Nutricima Mega Cash promo is a loyalty reward scheme in the Federal Capital Territory.

    Addressing journalists at the launch of the promo in Abuja last Wednesday, Mr Penni Vakki, the Middle belt Regional Manager of Nutricima stated that the scheme was designed with the teeming millions of consumers in mind and to demonstrate to the kids, youth and adults that the company values their loyalty and patronage by creating a platform for them to win a millions of Naira.

    According to Penni Vakki, “the way the promo is designed, it is clear that we want many people to win millions of Naira and numerous gifts as possible. All they have to do is to purchase any of coast evaporated milk, Olympic evaporated milk or family pack of Nunu powder milk, all of which bear the special label for the Mega Cash promo. There are also raffle draws which will produce 15 millionaires among our consumers cross Nigeria.”

    Speaking further, he said, Nutricima takes part in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives “and engage the communities through various platforms like grass-root sporting activities, ”Healthy Living” campaign in neighbourhoods, partnership with Lagos State Government to drive ”Drink Milk” campaign, partnering with school for kids with special needs like Down Syndrome Foundation of Nigeria (DSFN).”

  • Nutricima to reward consumers with cash prizes

    Nutricima Limited, makers of Coast, Nunu, Olympic milk and other nutritious food products is giving away cash prizes worth millions of naira to consumers in its latest consumer-reward initiative tagged “Nutricima Mega Cash Promo.”

    The promo is aimed at rewarding new and existing consumers of the firm’s range of milk products and would run for three months starting from January 13 to April 14, 2014.

    According to a statement issued on the promo, consumers stand the chances of winning millions of naira and numerous gifts after purchasing any of Coast (evaporated or powder), Nunu 380g or Olympic Milk which has the promo label.

    Under the label, consumers will find a six digit Code number which would be sent along with the product serial number to 08093377802. The sender then gets an auto response SMS which informs the consumer about the prize that has been won.

    Instant wins in the Mega Cash Promo include N50 airtime e-top-up for thousands of consumers, cash prizes of N500, N1, 000, N5, 000 and N10, 000 each.

    Aside from the instant prizes, the auto SMS can also qualify consumers for a monthly raffle draw where they have the chance of winning cash prizes from N50, 000 to N1million.

    To redeem their cash prizes, customers are expected to go to the official banking partners – Zenith bank with SMS proof and the product label. Cash prizes between N500 and N10, 000 would be paid over the counter, while N50, 000 – N1, 000, 000 would be transferred to winners’ accounts. 15 lucky people are expected to win N1, 000, 000 each in the raffle which would hold every month during the promo.
